Having been through very similar circumstances, I completely understand and my heart goes out to you Emily. Even as adults we do need our parents! Children of some divorces regardless of age become collateral damage and it’s not right nor is it fair! Even if true about having children, unnecessary thing to say to your Mom! Emily, I am so sorry! 😭 After my first husband and i divorced, my ex walked out of our sons life and hasn't seen him or spoken to him in 9 years!!! 🥺
