this is great . i can just claim i am a mechanic and get junk motors that wont work and tell customers its not my fault even though i am the mechanic and a judge will award me a nice profit for my services that never fix the car . the judge is TOTALLY wrong on this and its the mechanic's fault for not telling the customer that the motor may not work because its coming from a junk yard .

@@marleonetti7 did you even watch this case???? He gave her the list of engines and where they are supplied from and she chose the junk yard motor (knowing it was from a junk yard) because it was cheaper. He then told her that the engine would need some work and she was still ok with it. That is exactly why he suggested that she purchase a warranty, which she did!! The warranty served its purpose but she asked him to fudge the paper work and up the price of what it was going to cost so that she could get the extra money to cover her original costs as well.
Not to mention that once she made a claim on that warranty, it was out of the mechanics hands and it was up to the junk yard (who she chose) to supply a new engine. The mechanic couldnt do anything until there was an engine to put in the car. When she became difficult, he offered for her just to pay him the $500 for the engine which he was out of pocket for and not to even worry about paying any labour costs and she can take her car somewhere else. He was willing to take the loss. She then went and took her car and paid him nothing for what he was out of pocket for. And she made the deal and agreed to pay the $500 and take her car elsewhere. But instead, the thief and liar that she is, just went and took her car back and paid NOTHING. How you came to your conclusion really baffles me!

I never cease to be amazed at how some people can believe what they want to believe about evidence that is clearly against them. There wasn't a word on that recording that supported the defendant's claim that she "couldn't trust him." That may have been her rationalization for stealing the car, but there was no evidence to that effect, yet she thought there was. I didn't wait for the post-mortem, but I fully expect her to fall back on "he's a liar," the last projectional refuge of a liar.

It's scary that she, like many, many people, think that what she did is 'honest' and that she's a 'good' person, when in fact she is a liar and con artist, because she swindled him out of his hard-earned money by stealing back her car, and the funniest part is that her recording was better evidence for him than for her, as it proved that she was a liar and a thief...

I would never replace an engine on a car, same as transmission. The car will never be the same.

Yea we had deal and I agreed to the deal but because I thought he would break the deal I decided to break it first. There's some warped thinking. What is she talking about missing work to take her kid places. She's going to miss the thing that feeds her family because she can' tell her kid no, more warped thinking.

I don’t want to call her stupid but how can she listen to that and thinks it helps her? Seriously if I was her I never would have shown up in court I would have paid the guy. How embarrassing 😮😮😮

Defendant is SO the bad guy! She got the cheapest engine available, from a junkyard, which obviously might work and might not, which is why she got the insurance. She's going to get the insurance claim which will pay for the engine and the installation time. Plaintiff gave her a great deal on the cost of his time, and all she had to do was wait until another engine became available. But, instead, she gets impatient and makes a deal with the plaintiff to pay him $500 (which was WAY less than his cost and the value of his time) to get her car back, then violates the deal and steals her car. I can't even understand how she could possibly think her actions were defensible. "I didn't trust him." Yeah lady, YOU are the one who's untrustworthy, not him.
