Thank you for the compliments! I like being useful! My trusty steed is a 2021 Trek Checkpoint ALR4. I rode it on the C2C in 2021 and on all of my trail riding. As for other gear, just the typical padded shorts and low cost shirts. As you can see in the videos, no expensive cycling jerseys for me! As for footwear, sneakers and flat pedals. My style is not speed, as I enjoy riding and do not want the ride to end quickly! Thanks for watching and for posting!
Thanks for the ride! I would probably ride on the sidewalk over the bridges, here in Florida. Too much road debris along the sides ... concerns me more about tire puntures :)
I have found that the amount of debris varies over time. We have not gotten much rain lately so there is more debris. When we get summer storms, debris gets flushed away. But the sidewalk is always a viable option! Thanks for posting.
