Wow Mappa really extended the anime fight didn’t they.
I like how clear the manga makes Mahoraga’s ability to adapt, the anime kinda puts a center focus on the fight which is still cool obviously.

And not because the manga is bad, the manga is good but the anime is 200% the good stuff! The Sukuna vs. Mahoraga fight in the manga lasted just 1 chapter.
The animated episode instead added so much more it was *the best animated fight of the year!*
AND THIS WHEN IT WAS JUST 30% OF WHAT THE ANIMATORS ORIGINALLY PLANNED! Post Blu-Ray that fight is GOD WORK!!!

Maho adapted so fast in the manga, I think the anime's pace is more consistent to the time Maho takes to adapt later on when Sukuna uses him against Gojo.
@thomasdeen2099To be fair, sukuna's technique is far simpler than gojo's. Correct me if im wrong, but i believe it was stated that adaptation time is tied to the complexity of the attack in question
@@muda1312on top of that, sukuna was using domain amplification many times in the middle of the fight which sukuna himself said that by using it, he was temporarily paused mahoraga adaption until he stops using it. This, as well as the complexity of limitless caused mahoraga’s adaptation to be very slow
