''This short piece for solo flute is a lament composed in the memory of the eminent Greek composer, conductor and teacher Theodore Antoniou (1935-2018). It is conceived as a structured written improvisation that contains lamentation gestures and idiomatic flute techniques. The work incorporates a quotation from a Greek traditional moirologi that Theodore Antoniou himself has used in the laments he composed for many of his deceased friends and colleagues.
