I really enjoy playing the pokemon tcg nothing is better then a good pokemon card pack opening if the pokemon cards are worth money its even better. getting into a pokemon card battle is also fun. Of course playing the pokemon tcg is my forte! like how to build a pokemon deck and playing the pokemon tcg online is how I spend most of my evenings. Pokemon tcg tournament are also great and if you even need any help on how to play the pokemon tcg then let me know! Dont forget you can also open pokemon tcg pack online too! Ive never got to open packs with leonhart or randolph but hopefully will soon! Not pokemon vgc pokemon vgc online or pokemon tcg world championships. Building pokemon decks is very fun! watching other deck profiles and deck lists is very helpful

I think the only pokemon where the position could be changed is with Crustle. Mainly because of the Sturdy Crustle, which is used in a solid Legacy Deck, where with the combination of the Damage Swap Reuniclas and the Royal Heal Serperior to create a unbeatable Crustle that was often paired with Item Lock like Vileploom. This Set-Up was done by copying Lifesplosion from a Cradily (For each Energy on this Pokemon, put a Stage 2 Pokemon from your Deck to your Bench) from the Lost Zone with Mew Prime.
I only really take standard amd occasionally expanded into account for these videos but that does sound cool!
I'll be honest with you - Golem looks even worse. The Golem deck in Pocket that won that big tournament turned out to be entirely fraudulent. Ever since then it has pretty much completely disappeared because it turned out it was bad. The only one of the top 5 decks against which it has a good matchup is Pikachu and its Mewtwo and Grass matchups are absolutely abysmal.
I did think it was a bit of a one hit wonder cause haven't seen it since 😂

Cherrim definitely was a consideration but there was some worst gen 4 pokemon imo, plus I personally played the battle styles one a lot sooo 🤣

crawdunt also has pretty terrible cards. never been remotely useful despite his sick design T-T the only ok one is the ex that returns a benched pokemon to hand if they have 4 pokemon on their bench, which is stupid easy to play around
Yeah Crawdaunt was a consideration! The ex and it's primal clash one saved it! But gen 3 had some easy ones to pick 😂😭
i forgot about the primal clash one being ok cuz even then it didnt see much play outside of niche decks at locals. And dark glc decks usually opt for other stratrgies than what it does. yeah that ability definitely saved it.

In fairness. It is a 3rd Pokémon. So it makes sense why you thought that. But it is a stage 2
Never seen such bad pull rates on any tcg!
I play magic for many years and often buy boxes... the pulled card value is often near what I spent, sometimes even topping it.
I started playing Lorcana with my son and bought some boxes. Some were kind of mediocre, but some were really great.
With Pokemon...I started when I was young and now getting back into collecting, and the pulle are abysmal! I spent about 125€ on a box of twilight masquerade and got cards about worth 15€ in total! !!!
The best pulls I recieved were from Japanese Displays (1 Terastal Festival and 1 Shiny Treasure)....paid about 100€ in total and got about 40€ back in value.
Etbs were kind of paying around 45€...getting back 6€ in average.
Pokemon really is brutal when its about Pull-Rates

I think its not really fair to match up all the one prizer cards that are clearly meant to be used in a non rulebox format. Example, toucannon deals 140 for 3 energy. In the non rule box format thats one hitting even stage 2 pokemon. Thats a decks win condition. But yeah, when the basic V have 220hp, of course 140 for 3 energy on a stage 2 with no acceleration is terrible. But toucannon wasnt designed to be played in the main game. Ive been playing for less than a year and i clearly see that the pokemon TCG has two games inside the cards.
The idea that cards are designed for separate non rule box format sounds like your personal head cannon 👀
@BurtsPTCG maybe, but all the pieces are there and it didn't take much looking to see the benchmarks in the numbers and the patterns across the energy costs and effects when compared to each other directly. Great videos btw.
