It's a neat concept but I feel like the warping is a bad mechanic here. I know it replaces quit out, but doesn't it just give you a get out of jail free card that you can abuse anytime? Even if he pre-empts it he'll be fighting at a bench and you'll be full hp. You can infinitely stall just by running from a bench and warping back to it. Should take the L and ban it, reroute the run a bit if need be.
Honestly this is very entertaining, I can’t wait to see this mod be perfected and have runs like this be even smoother! Also, love this content, keep it up!
I think it will be more fun if major area events were synced for the both of you, like if you opened black egg, he should be able to follow you in there, abilities would still be personal, but i think things like that should at least be same for both of you, kinda like how hunters can also enter the end portal if dream fills it you know, i think THK fight with a hunter would be crazy to watch... Lol
To make it more challenging, the hunter should be maxed out with all masks, shards, skills etc so they can spend less time on bosses and more time hunting you
I feel like using little to no bench warping would add to the experience (hunters should still be able to warp), maybe steelsoul but that would probably end up being a bit too much
I’d like to be a hunter cuz I’m pretty good at hollow knight (I did teachers archives without ismas tear first time) but my computer thermal throttles and idk if I can get the multiplayer mod

But then he wouldn't be able to finish the game. If he just infinitely stalls, he may be surviving, but he's not making any progress either.
