Love these old-school note slide decks! It's not easy to explain such a complex system. I've used SEM quite some times, but never thought how the optics control system works. Thank you!

I am happy that we got a Zeiss Auriga it makes so much easier to get good results. Apart from that the second secondary electron detector in the column delivers even good data at just 5kV.

Check out that PulseTor! Surprised those things are still around considering they blew up within a few months of use. Company even died out ages ago! Only seen a few in the field.
