BORN PINK album is indeed a new and experimental approach- at least for Blackpink. Sonically, it's different to THE ALBUM. For sure some people prefer the previous one because it's has more loud EDM instrumentals. However this album offers a fresh perspective from the girls, and their voices matures in this album even more.
And what I truly love and like from this album it's because they're slowly showing their reserved skills/talents. Additionally, I noticed all throughout their discography that their musical growth is not forced--they take so much precautions as to not ruin it.

They feel obliged to comment abt Jisoo because people feel bad she isn't as appreciated while rosie is just forgotten:( me personally I am not mad at yous but I think some fans are just tired of rosie getting left out and the hate she is getting bc of this solo is so much that people will jump down ppls throats the second they think someone is saying rosie is bad or etc. So I'm sorry this has been made into a big deal although for years most reactions have been purely jennie and lisa as in whenever it's their verse you go crazy but rosie and Jisoo you guys just tend to watch thru but thats just my interpretation. Today is the first time I've heard that Rosé is allegedly getting slammed for having a solo. I tend to stay away from fandom wars, because myself and everybody else knows how toxic they can be. I really just asked a question about the placement of a solo on the album, just to be curious, while still appreciating that its there, & all the Rosé stans got me completely WRONG LOL. She is actually my bias wrecker, I reacted to all of her solos from last year, even did a dance cover to On The Ground, cello taping my phone to the ceiling just to film the floor choreo which ripped the paint off my ceiling too, which I'm sure you have seen. So today has been WILD! I never expected these kind of responses lol. Crazy... 😅
