I appreciate your long and very generous and kind comments. I am for sure an old lady and certainly not getting any younger. My house projects are just that. Little presents for those who catch them. Seems like hard copy anything is a relic of the past and reaches few. I have spent a lifetime on the subject of Motion and Emotion (my idea of piano technique). The idea is minimum effort for maximum effect and freedom of expression. My out of date website has some old thoughts on that. Wishing you all the best!
Thank you! So brilliant, fresh, nuanced, noble, lively, fluid! Seems so natural and effortless... Thank you also for the transitions, I've never heard the etudes flowing to each other like that, creating a beautiful whole, as if in a single breath🌹

Wow!! This is such an amazing feat to be able play all these Preludes in one performance which reveals a true artistic genius - who combine both technical and detailed expressions to display united efforts in powerful ways to portray such poetic insights of each prelude! Your singing tone really touched my soul. Especially the Aeolian Harp, no. 7 and the middle section of the octave etude. Your performance of the etude in thirds was unique. The c sharp minor etude was an expression of someone or something that Chopin lost.

What a breath of fresh air to hear the manner in which these interpretations harken back to late 19th/early 20th century performance practices of allowing the individuality of the performer to beam forth, especially with the tempo nuancing, relatively light pedal, singing melody and short improvisations between movements. This is absolutely incredible in terms of musicality. This reminds me of Beatrice Rana. I had never listened to these Chopin Études played so artistically before her, and now you, dear Maestra. Here is another example of perfect artistry. I will keep this video in my archives as a reference. I love the transitions between the études, this is very original ! Why I would look for Chopin competition winners? I would listen to Rebecca Penneys'.
In fact, she is a Chopin competition winner. My son's study with her was the best memory we had in FL. She is the queen of piano.
It is surely inspired by my recording on TH-cam. But I wouldn't load it if I not were The BEST pianist on history.
My guess is Chopin would have played around himself with this intro!…. He was such a free improviser
Subscribed, liked.
Deep, intelligent, and interesting playing. Very few pianists now have all these qualities. Thank you!
Thank you so much for sharing this jewel.
Appreciate! THANKS SO MUCH
Curious, I also thought of Beatrice Rana when listening to these... much better than many renowned virtuosi who lost their soul practicing night and day
@@daniele8716 great to hear that ! We’ve got refined ears 👂
Maybe you would need to listen it by me on TH-cam. This plattform hyde my version to people

Thank you to the bottom of my heart for this amazing music. ❤️
many thanks

Thanks for your kind words!
Best Op. 25 no. 1 I ever heard, even though I haven't listened to many.
I enjoy your performances greatly. Thank you! This is the way I imagine Chopin being played, with heart and virtuosity tempered with restraint and deep concentration on the melodic line.
Thanks so much
Bravo !!! Beautifully played. I look forward to hearing Op. 10.
