Dean keeps a keepsake from everyone he considers family when they're gone. He kept his dad's jacket and wore it all of the time, Bobby's flask, Cas' coat (it wasn't his style so he didn't wear it), the amulet Sam gave him although with the way Sam was lying to him all of the time about Ruby he ended up throwing it away.
I agree! So I don't know why Misha and Jensen said it "was gay" of Dean to keep the trench coat. But I guess they thought it was funny?

I don't know if that was Zachariah's trick or whatever (but, yeah, that's his style), leaving his family was definitely one of Sam's happiest memory and I don't blame him for that. I mean, it wasn't good or anything but he wanted to have a normal life, what his mother would what for all of them. Leaving John and Dean was his choice and I think he did a right thing so it's okey that was his happy memory. But on the other hand it had to be really painfull for Dean so I don't blame him neither.
It's true. Dean's quite the sentimentalist at heart. =)

No. She doesn't. He asked her "how are you?" And she said, "Fine. Maybe..." because she got nervous when he got so close to her.
That's not why he threw his amulet away. It was in Dark side of the moon, after in Heaven Sam's happy memories were about the times when he wasn't with his family. And, well, who can blame Dean for throwing it away after something like that?
Even Jared dressed like that, I'd still want to have my way with him
