I might sound crazy saying this, but I think that can actually be true. I mean many years ago, a shabby looking guy came knocking on my door and asked for some help. But he looked too sus to me so I turned him down and closed my door. After 10 minutes he was still standing there staring at the door. And then the next minute when I looked out the window again, he's already vanished. I scanned through the road but couldn't spot him anywhere. And since then, I'm not kidding, life suddenly became hard on me. Wherever I went, people treated me harshly, to the point it made me depress and I became a shut in for a few years. Thinking back now, and having experienced this, I guess Beauty and the Beast was after all a true story. Big part of it obviously has been exaggerated, but there might've been some bases. Angels disguising themselves as shabby looking strangers to test your kindness.
As someone who owns a garden, I would love to care for a garden that needed some love even if I was homeless, even for free. Gardens and nature are a gift. It is nice to do this. I hope they both have a wonderful life

The homelessness came first btw, the drugs were just to cope with long work hours and to stay alert enough for self defense. He's a pleasant and lovely homeless man making the best out of his morning but that doesn't take away from the seriousness and tragedy of his situation. One day, Russian guy going solo doing whatever and another of my team asks him 'What are you doing?'. Answer of the Russian "I'm typing" ... WTF.. I laughed then as loud as now about the raking guy.
