He's so beautifully complete. He popped into my attention when he was in San Antonio kick'n Golden State's ass in the playoffs and they couldn't do anything about it. Then he got hurt and here we are. I observed strength, stamina, balance, finesse, touch, speed, power, footwork, dunks and scores with either hand, scores in the paint, great mid-range game, shoots the 3, beautiful shot motion, beautiful passer, a leaper, plays excellent defense, reads the floor. Ya the team was absolutely stacked and had literally everything you could ask for in a team, Kawhi, Siakam, Lowry, Gasol, Ibaka, Green, VanVleet, Powell, could have had OG
even tho I was only 8 at the time, being from toronto I will never forget his playoff run
😂
Happy for you 🇨🇦
“Defended by Simmons, is this the dagger? Ohhhh!!!”
“Game series! Toronto has won!”
I'll remember this playoff run for as long as i live. Every time Kawhi had the ball, i knew we had a chance
Stellar playoff season by Kawhi, he got his revenge with GSW after he almost destroyed them in WCF. Kobe mentality right there no celebrating never celebrate until you hold the real trophy
Easily one of the best postseason runs in NBA history. If not 1, it’s definitely close.
Not 1 top 10
@@_teezyDaVIs its the third most points in a single run after mj and lebron
I'd say top 5 at least
Raptors version of Kawhi was the best version of himself we could’ve had something special😢
Kawhi just had the touch in this playoff run. Some of those shots he hit were absolutely insane and they would bounce in. I don’t think anyone could’ve stopped him. He was in the zone the whole time.
Each series the defense on kawhi just kept getting tougher n tougher and he made each team he faced like they can’t play at all lol
Especially against the Sixers. 4 guys took turns defending him. Butler/ Simmons/ Harris / Ennis
Preeeetty sure GS defense woulda been a little better if Klay and KD were playing
@@rygesa raps wouldve swept kd less warriors if kawhi was healthy
@@glovs4188 KL2 KLAMPGODS wtf are you talking about? Kawhi was healthy theres no excuses if your healthy enough to be on the court. Otherwise you go down a rabbit hole of Stephs dislocated finger and ankle sprain, Cousins torn left quad, and Iggy and Klay's pulled hamstrings. Also it took Kawhi 6 games with Klay out for 2 games so your really not making sense.
@@rygesa lol. You blind? Dude was running like an old man. Yes they play through injury. That doesnt change the fact he is hurt.
Go home kid.
He is such a Freak! You can just see it by the way he plays and how he gets hit in almost every possession but he still somehow manages to finish the play and even score! The humble actions after every play also show how much of a professional and a phenomenal person he is! He gets hit, so what carry on, on to the next play! Amazing player!
One of the greatest individual playoff runs of all time.
I actually have respect for Kawhi because of this playoff run, he ended the Warriors dynasty, and gave balance to the NBA again. Even tho I'm a LeBron/Lakers fan, and he's playing for the enemy, he's still one of my favorite players. LeBron, Kawhi, KD, Steph and Harden are the players that influenced my style of play.
He also ended the Miami Big 3 era.... Kawhi just like to ruin dynasties....
Ain’t end no dynasty

This aged poorly 💀😂
@@GB-vo7ws not really cuz without kawhi the warriors would’ve gotten a few more in a row
This was great to watch. One of the best playoff performances ever!
I come back here every now and then to just watch some beautiful basketball. If my kids every play basketball im gonna show them how Kawhi Leonard plays
That buzzer beater still gives me goosebumps 😍🔥
Hoop! KAWHI LEONARD IS MY FAVORITE IDOL ,BECAUSE HE IS SO VERY HUMBLE 💪🖐
Kawhi Leonard deserves a statue & street named after him because of this, shit id drive across the country to see it happen. He united an entire country in 2019 & ill never forget it man, you had Hockey, CFL, & Jays fans at the bar going absolutely nuts together when we beat GSW.
Probably the best defensive and offensive combination in a player since MJ...
Better defender than mj
Kobe
Kobe…?
@@colehollander7741 he’s a mini mamba in my book. The best one there is while the media screams devin booker and Tatum 😆

2019 Raptors are iconic and an all time great team. Kawhi was a machine! 🇨🇦
6:47 poetry in motion
One of the few guys in the NBA that play guys Full Court Defensively. Also did it from the midrange mostly on a bad knee.
Who also made his TEAM better defensively. Spurs, Raptors played better and now Clippers play better D as a unit. Defense wins championships.
To me, he's like a suped up super-powered James Worthy (not a stretch, lookit James' highlights, and demeanor). Immediately, "that's my guy". This playoff run was epic and all-time. His performance in it was Mike-esque. And he's still ascending.
that season when he got injured by zaza, he was tearing the league apart on his own.
This run was magical 😭😭
Each stadium should do a thing where whenever he has a poster dunk or something they play his laughing audio in the arena. Id feel bad for the guy who got postered though.
The Knick Fan I like your channel. Your nba videos are really good. I just subbed, keep up the good work! 🙂

They all knew the ball was going to an injured Kawhi and he still came clutch for Toronto. Truly a great performance and I was glad to see it taken from Golden State #KLAW
Stephen Curry is the undisputed GOAT of this sport.
There have been big talents like Jordan, but no one matches Steph´s level of wizardry and skill.
rafa 02 True dat
Hakeem/Dirk type of run
TheMohAs DIRK played against KOBE, HOWARD, KD, RUSS, HARDEN, LEBRON, WADE, & BOSH. Levels to this. Kawhi played against injured Warriors
na, he played against embiid, Butler, Giannis(the MVP), and the best shooting backcourt
@TrolleyXLakers - Jordansexual stopper But Curry. Who just so happens to be "better than Kawhi all time."
Kawhi with the Raptors was something special! Dude was straight focus and destroy 🤖🏀 No smiling or joking around. Objective win the championship
The Kawhi Leonard Raptors experience is, bar none, the coolest thing to ever happen in Canadian pro sports.
One of my idol so verry humble god bless you khawi
Look at Kawhi man...
DaQuan “the fun guy”
So Inspirational
Adnan Dahir 😂😂😂
@DaQuan 1st off you're probably a bandwagon fan, second, you disrespected your team if you already have 2 top 5 players, and need another one. LBJ and AD must not be good enough to beat the Clippers?
@DaQuan You mean, he didn't give LeBron a super team like the one everyone complained about for the last 4 years? I think you might be the clown lmaoo
i am here reliving the moment this is the mode i need kawhi in GO CLIPPS!!!
I’d literally take 20 years off my life to go back to 2019. What a time

One of the greatest runs ever. Thank you Klaw for what you did for this team and country. I never thought I would get to experience a championship ❤️🇨🇦🥂 #wethechamps
The one of the greatest run ever in my opinion!
Hakeem Olajuwon ( 1994/1995 ), Dirk Nowitzki ( 2011 ), Michael Jordan ( 1997 ) ? ?
@@allanhouston6759 he said one of the greatest, not the greatest. And yeah, in my opinion this play off run was as great as Hakeem's and Dirk's.

No one was more dialed in through EVERY GAME OF THE PLAYOFFS as Kawhi Leonard was in 2019
Them: Kawhi had no emotions.
Kawhi: Im a fun guy.
Watching Kawhi succeed in what he does makes me so happy ❤️
All time great playoff performance he stamped fasho 💯
The greatest small forward of all-time when he retires . Very clean and efficient offensive game along with being a lockdown defender . A perfect blend of Michael Jordan and Ron Artest .
Are hope for balance in search of integrity

gotta sprinkle a lil Kobe in there to.
Maybe 3rd all-time
1st Bron
2nd Bird
3rd Kawhi
@kaleel clark more Pip and MJ imo due to having almost as big hands as MJ hes like a love child of the two lol maybe slightly less overall as good defensively as Pip and Offensively as MJ (obviously) but hes the same kind of all time great 2 way player!
Best team performance since Detroit's Championship run.
One of the best individual postseason performances; statistically and in terms of impact since Michael Jordan.
What an opportunity of a lifetime to watch in realtime!
One of the greatest runs in NBA history by a player.
To this day the kings and raptors atmosphere is still the best

Kawahi is a beast. Two way player. Just like Jordan , but in slow motion.
Get well soon, Kawhi
You can sense the aura of will in his performance.
Never underestimate Kawhi. Period.
Most entertaining team to watch last postseason.
Nah it's the rockets; flopping and kicking out your legs for calls.
I'd say game Game 6 Warriors vs Rockets was pretty epic. Game 6 Finals would've been the best if fucking danny green didn't injure Klay
@@john50beach18 green didn't purposely injure klay. Danny green fouled klay and klay landed badly.
@@jeffreyxu6430 Danny Green undercut Klay causing him to pull his hamstring in game 2 (and had to miss game 3). And then he fouls Klay on a breakaway dunk in game 6 (when he was on pace to drop 50) and tears his ACL. Both times, it's Danny Green. Hell of a coincidence
@@john50beach18 bullshit. Klay was trying to draw a foul, that's more on klay than green. In game 6, klay was going for a dunk, and green tried to block it but fouled him. There were worse attempts at fouls.

what I like more about these highlights aside his offense is his clutch defense. He a joy to watch because you just see he exerts effort in hustle and defense.
