What if you cant even search for them and they only show up if you got to settings and then apps? Because no video out there is showing this problem?

Idk if u figure t out yet but u have to go to settings then look for advanced features and turn of game launcher

What if you just found out missing 1 app in the home screen and don't know what is the missing one how do you locate the apps that is exactly missing? Is there something like a bin or a folder on every missing apps?
Thank you for being thorough. My grandson has a Samsung tablet and I lost his TH-cam kids app. He has been driving me crazy making me help play the games! Sometimes I have to do dishes, lol. He was just on a different page. Swiping to the right page worked!
just now I tried searching it in the app list in the settings but its not there even in app store but i can still see it in the appmarket it still has the open button which mean i didn't uninstall it but when i tried to open it,it says *no interface available the app is in use "unable to open"*
I know this is a dumb question, but what if I can't recall the app? It was for a security camera and I had someone else install the app. Then it disappeared but I thought I saw it on my phone last week. But it wasn't on my homescreen and I can't search as nothing comes up with security and I have a camera already.

I have a different case with my phone. App is installed already (Outlook) but it's now showing in apps. I cant see its icon. I open that app by searching it with search bar. it's anoying isn't it. do you know a solution for this? In my settings it says at the top that there are 49 apps, but when I click show all, there is only 47, I have literally counted four times? Could I have a virus or spyware?
Bruh or you can tap the three buttons on ur search bar and then when u tap it has different things so what u wanna tap is settings then It takes u to setting u will the one saying hide apps when u tap it u see the apps you have hidden

Didn't help. My calendar app is installed but the icon button is gone. I have to open it up from the settings screen. Where did the icon go!

Ye no wonder kinda bad guide. So you will want to go to your settings than to the sub-menu "Apps" than it will show 3 -4 apps. You continue by tapping "see all apps" which should be under the 4th app. Than U tapp the three vertically stacked dots in the top right corner and tap show system. Lastly you go and tap the magnifying glass to the left of the three dots and search the name. If you don't know the name u have to look through the list which is long as it contains all apps on your phone

I found my apps and fixed my problem what i did was firstly go to
Settings
Home screen (folder/menu)
Hide apps on home screen apps screen menu
Deselect the hidden apps
The above steps helped fix it for me. Hope it helps

If u dont have the app search thing. Always to remember first to piwer down and open ur phone of just restart it. Cuz it worked for me
once you showed me to swipe up, duh, there the icons were! geez, why doesn't home screen say that?!
Absolutely not true! It will also say install even if you've downloaded it before! And this video showed nothing in how you find apps uve installed. You have to go into settings in the app store than manage apps and devices and you'll find it in there... You just gotta search a bit and you'll see all the apps you've ever installed on your phone and the apps that are uninstalled but still in the cloud so to say or background I guess.
Please speak slower for those of us who never navigated the Internet. There are many of us.

Make a smart phone someone please. These dumb phones are a utter joke. Even the reception gets progressively worse I notice with each new phone I am forced to buy. Marketers won the vote over the designers it seems.
Update for no purpose other than something to do that's the reason I got from a company when I asked why all the changes that cause us losses in finding out again how to do the same task as last week.
Imagine if this were a car and every week they hide the gear box in a new place and swap gears all around while you try drive to work.

The company I asked indicated there was no improvement, no new features, nothing but annoying everyone for something to do. Costing us all in massive massive losses. They should fire that update fool and save everyone a fortune in losses.
My phone never fails to fail by design, not hardware fails but updates is a killer.
