All 5 episodes just fantastic, at the very end a number of surprises. All my judgements and emotions were full on, and the teapot helped to wash down the adrenalin, one cuppa after another. To the script writers, congratulations. Well done.

Very good drama with suspense through out and holds the viewer from episode to episode. Again demonstrating the obvious skills level of the British story telling and presenting as compared to the over the over the top juvenile approach usual in American amateurish drama. This as an American presentation would be guaranteed rubbish, Over cost over acted and over their ability. Thank you Brits. Let's have more of this intelligent viewing please !
I agree, but its interesting that for all Travers' preaching about the truth, he's really just a vigilante. Vigilantes always believe that what they think is right, and rationalize taking matters into their hands instead of the courts. Let's all do that!

the DI'S wife is screaming before she could be sure he's dead??? Re computer: nobody else could know that there were NO important inform. on it! and who would be so stupid to threaten with police whiel in the same rom??
Charlie creed miles who plays the cop is a great actor, a lot other films he’s on the receiving end of the police and bully’s such as Wild Bill, Essex Boys and Nil by mouth and Harry Brown I’m surprised he wasn’t called Billy in this like his other films.
I just pretty much want them all to go down except for the alleged criminals and the female attorney. That would be Justice. I am all too familiar with injustice.

Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically past?..." Mrs Richards: "Don't be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea!" Basil: "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky." Mrs Richards: "I'm not satisfied. But I shall stay. But I expect a reduction." Basil: "Why?! Because Krakatoa's not erupting at the moment?"
