In my Ford Expedition, s similar problem. If the battery is good and there is no cracked transponder (transceiver), merely sit in the seat, make sure all doors are closed, take the key...press lock, press unlock, place the key in the ignition, turn to start.
@andrewgiordano5509 ok thank you. On-line it has 1998 thru 2001 being compatible but I got the used one from a 2000 but the part numbers are different. I ordered a matching number one and I really hope it works and I don't have something more broke. Thanks again I appreciate it yiur
@@wellthewayIseeit yes when I got mine I made sure the part # matched because there's so many variations of them for those years. Hope it works out for you, replacement of it is actually pretty easy.
Ya I went to a junkyard where your able to pull your own parts under supervision and they allowed me to get just the transponder. It's give and take at some of these junkyards.
