We would love to but it's hard to find big enough brookies. We can get 8-10 inches but we don't want our bass to eat them all. So they would have to be big ones.
so cool u have a fishing spot right outside ur backyard haha the aerator tank looks really mint as. i guess you no longer have to struggle through the snow like u did in ur precious videos haha
It is like sowing seeds or planting young fruit and veggie plants in your garden in the spring in order to have a bounty in the autumn. In this case, you are doing the same type of thing with your pond. @@AverieRose
Hello happy fishing Monday morning I enjoy seeing your fishing videos you rock can you please do a fishing collaboration with fishing with Becca please aww 🐕🦺 he loves you
Any way you could stock these where they could reproduce so u don't have to restock and keep spending money? Getting rid of such a junk fish like bass would probably help to not eat young ones.
We love our bass! lol Our pond actually gets too hot in the summer to sustain rainbows. They will die off in July or August so we only get enough for the winter and spring. Trout also won't reproduce on their own in a pond; they need a stream. The bluegill, minnows and bass reproduce though.
thank you for sharing. nice looking fish
there were some pretty fish that’s for sure!
Rainbow trout are such cool fish! You should get brook trout for the pond!

Brook trout die off even earlier than rainbows. They hate warm water.
Brook trout need really clean and cool water to survive which is why they are usually in mountain lakes and streams.
Excellent video. I liked and subscribed and look forward to future videos. Great job with the interview Averie.

Neat video, out of curiosity how much was the fish per pound? Good luck with your ice fishing! Should try fly fishing those bad boys in the spring!
the fish were $6 per pound. i’ve never fly fished before so that’s definitely something i’d like to try!
Ask your old man if I can come fish your pond Averie 🙏
this video was awesome thanks for sharing you do guys do any fly fishin?
i’ve never tried fly fishing but would love to
Dream life.
how much money per pound or fish?
They charge by the fish it’s not bad it’s like 7$ for a full grown trout it adds up though
What do you feed them?
We stocked the pond with minnows so they eat the minnows. We bought some trout bait too which is grain kibble type stuff.

Lived one street over from this place and had no idea it was even there hid it well so ppl are not sneaking in catching fish
lol yes it is well hidden and the shade from the trees probably helps to keep the water cooler in the summer.
