What I always loved about Egg Dragoon aside from its design, is how Eggman specially made it to finally end Sonic. He meant business in that fight. If you didnt defeat him fast enough, he would plummet you straight into lava.
And it's kinda crazy that if it wasn't for just how powerful the Werehog was, and if it was baseline Sonic against that, he would legit be dead and gone. Even the prototype we see in the opening cutscene managed to eventually catch and if the emeralds didn't exist, that would have been game over before it even started. Harnessing Dark Gaia was probably one of Eggman's better plans to both fuel Eggmanland and the Dragoon as a "Sonic Buster" of a mech. But since Sonic was also being augmented by Dark Gaia's energy, it might as well have been an even field.
I cleared the game at 2 week ago,There are the best.My favourite zone is jungle joyride act 1 and my favourite boss to fight is perfect dark gaia.I hope you can cleared all townspeople mission and can become bestfriend with chip.

I beat Dark Gaia on hardest dificulty when I was like 10 year old on launch date, you have to be trash to think it's frustrating lol
