Hi! I'd like to share something. The fact is that I have only recently realized myself as an agere and I cannot fully accept it yet. I am ashamed to go into children's stores to buy myself a few dolls that I want so much or to buy myself a pacifier that I need so much, I am still trying to accept myself and I hope I will. I just wanted to share it with someone, so that I wouldn't be so ashamed of all this, including myself. In my life, I still have no one to share
It can be hard to finally be comfortable with your regressed/little side. I think what’s helped me is I think of it as more of me not giving up on my inner child. I’m healing my inner child by getting the things that make that space feel most comfortable and meaningful. Remember, when your in a store, and you go to the toys of baby section, no one is thinking “oh they’re getting it for themselves”. They’re probably thinking your their for the same reason, a kid or a baby. You may have awkward conversations like “aww, I bet she/he will love that toy.” But with a simple smile/laugh and “mhm! They will!” It’s an easy end to the conversation. Just know, you have my support and I’m sending the biggest hugs
I'm gonna try to make a corner in my room agere related so if I'm in littlespace I can be there, so I can heal from the past and not being forced to grow up faster than was healthy for me
Hello, is "agere" mean the "adult baby" thing? I only heard about it on TLC clips on TH-cam. (I'm not a troll, I just wanna know more about it. since this video got recommended to me, under a different room tour thats the opposite)
My best personal explanation would be that "agere" is short for "age regression". It's usually a coping mechanism for trauma or an involuntary trauma response. When regressed, you enter a more child-like state of mind. Reasons some people do this tend to vary, but several common ones are: To revisit a time when they felt safe, to reclaim a childhood they never got to have because they were forced to grow up too fast, as a result of PTSD/CPTSD in which you are in a form of flashback state, etc. It is similar to, but different from, "ageplay" in which you roleplay as a different age as your own, such as the "adult baby" thing. Some age regressors do regress to a baby-like state of mind though, but not all of them. :)
@@amynhotep7651 ah, so its short for "age regression", got it. Does age regression count for teenage stage too? Like, one person is comforted by things teenagers use to like? one girl on one of those video, wants to play like she's 6, so I'm just curious on older ages one adult feels comfortable or at a state of mind at
@@ms.pirate hello! ummm so age regression i think can be to any age at a point in your life before adulthood. i’ve heard of some people regressing to teenage years but it’s not as common as regressing to younger than 10 i guess. I’m not sure if i worded this right or if it’s correct.. but if it is, i hope it helps! :)

I'm so sorry, it can be hard to except yourself, especially with so many people looking down on anything "childish" I hope it gets easier for you

@@undergroundDisc I ment ages under the adult age, yes. I just commonly hear about the baby thing mostly, so thats why I'm comparing it
