Pray Live Love :-) Funny thing is.. In Suriname my uncle sometimes would use okra leaves to wash his dreadlocks. I always thought it was weird.. now look at me using okra as a conditioner 😂🤷🏽♀️
Samantha Pollack Ik gebruik okers al een tijdje als conditioner, soms zelfs als leave in. Mijn haar gaat er juist heel erg van krullen en wordt super zacht. Ik voeg af en toe een olie of aloë vera toe.
So I think am going to be making a new conditioner now okra with aloe Vera and hibiscus flower all together and am going to add only olive oil. since that's lighter ..
You are too funny I guess this slim is good for something hehehheeeeehhhheeeee Sista if I did this in the shower I would on the floor saying : I've falling and I can't get up" hehhee I hope you ate the whole okra lol I love okra in Creole chicken stew with other veggies and rice. Thanks for sharing this reminds me of Flaxseed gel, oh maybe you can do a video in that and see if it works as a condish?
Ahahha please don’t fall. If my mom saw me making this she would say ‘why you waste those okras for your hair while it has to be in your stomach’. Yes it really feels like the flaxseed gel, But the okra was more slimy. Great idea! The battle of the diy gels/conditioner!
Oh wow....was this easy to wash out & did it make your tub & body real slippery? Im worried about this mixing w/the hair & being able to go through the hair catcher in my shower...lol.
This made me want fried okra & tomatoes.😊I saw a hair product that contained okra which seems to be all the rage right now even though it's been around for a while. I'll definitely try it out, my hair & scalp need all the benefits they can get.
I cooked the okra for 20-25 minutes. I will suggest to cook it for 15 minutes or at some water If the okra is still thick. You can use whatever oil you like grape seed, almond, jojoba etc
I know this video is old, well not that old, but do the creators realize that sometimes that their videos will often pop up and people may want to ask questions and they don't respond. That is just so annoying to me. How do expect for us so support if you don't answers questions. I see a lot of unanswered questions here. I started to ask one but I checked the replies so I wouldn't be asking the same question as someone else. Hell, nevermind I done forget the question. LOL
I am not impressed . You already have lovely , thick , long manageable hair . No one has yet found out how to make ugly , chicken like hair to grow & look like yours .

Ik ga het de volgende keer proberen als leave in conditioner. Misschien voor een twist out of wash & go
hoe worden de bladeren gebruikt
Can use frozen okra since I don't have fresh one please?
I feel like this is us getting back in touch with our ancestors. They used the same stuff.
She kinda look like a light skin Regina King 👌🏽
I use okra in my hair all the time. Been using it for years. I love it
So for so good, I wanna see what it does for my hair.

Can you leave it in?
Then add spice and meat or fish to the okra and eat it.
2 goals scored! ❤️
Don’t forget the eggplant!
I use it at times with aloe vera to wash my locs with a little bk soda added. This is nice. Thanks for sharing.
I've also included a little coconut oil and crushed rosemary leaves. Oh and a splash of lemon juice. But I'll have to try the baking soda too. Thanks.

Omgoodness I just seen the okra shampoo and conditioner in the Indian store but for whatever reason was kinda unsure to use it, thanks for the video..

I’ve seen it used as detangler & as a gel, but never as a conditioner. Great video!
I use it as a pre-poo.
Can you use it with aloe vera as a mixture? Does it smell after time?
Can it be used uncooked?

Just saw your video today. Are you still doing this treatment? I would love to try it since my dad grows okra in the garden.
I'm wondering same. I just started harvesting my okra from my 2020 garden.
May I ask if the okra has helped with anything?

Did you use anything to wash it out or ordinary water??
Oh wow....was this easy to wash out & did it make your tub & body real slippery? Im worried about this mixing w/the hair & being able to go through the hair catcher in my shower...lol.

Your hair looks great, how did the ocra conditioner smell & did it leave a smell behind in your hair?
The okra has a vegetable kind of odor. If you know what I mean. Just like fresh greens, but after washing the odor is gone
This is the first time I’ve seen this! This is cool 😎
You said not to make it thick, what will be your suggestions on how to do that? And what oil was you suggest using as well?

Thank you so much love.
