Probably best not to think about the previous Battle Toads style as they were much more metal - this looks too kid friendly for my taste, and the characters aren't as intimidating. I do like the animation and most of the stylization, although some of the bosses are very lackluster - mainly the first boss and the space shooter section. For maybe at a base $20, it could be good.

why couldnt they just make it look like the original designs but cooler? this is whack i dont wanna play it. reminds me of when Megaman Powered up came out and the music made me feel like a loser for playing it cause it was all baby sounding
