Wiggins won because Froome allowed him to! If Froome had gone all out in the mountains, Wiggo would have been 10 min behind!
1. It was Team Sky which decided that Wiggins won the Tour. Britains wanted to have Gold medal winner and TDF winner double in this year.
2. 10 minutes behind is a joke. We have seen one stage in which he could have dropped him and could have won some time on him. If he could make up the 2-3 minutes that Wigginns was faster in the time trials is in doubt.
@@blueaardvark5458 You serious? Whenever Froome pushed and raised the pace (which is never an attack) Wiggins was already struggling. So keeping that in mind, whenever Froome would attack Wiggins, he would still ride faster, impossible for wiggins to follow and he would have probably cracked and lose 1 minute every race in the mountains, maybe even up to 6 minutes. Something he would never make up in a tt.

Strange, I saw only one stage where Froome dropped Wiggins and was called back. The rest he simply escorted him and and there wasnt a moment when Wiggins could not follow beyond that.
Maybe you can explain why Wiggins dominated Froome in the TT, when Froome was so much stronger? There was no team order there giving e.g. the last time trial with a huge margin to Wiggins I guess.
chris froome est une personne qui a eu un gros don même s'il est dopé et ils sont tous dopé certains plus ou moins mais lacher quintana en montagne c'est vraiment qu'il a quelque chose en plus de tous les autres coureurs
J'ai pu lire de nombreux articles sur toute sa carrière, sa physiologie, ses résultat.., rien ne m'a semblé anormal, tout est logique dans son parcourt quand on connaît le coureur, ses capacités et ses données physiologique, il est juste meilleur que tout le monde, et sans doute meilleur qu'aucun coureur ne l'a jamais été.
Si dans 10 ou 15 ans personne n'a rien trouvé contre lui et qu'il a conservé toutes les victoires qu'il a remporté et qu'il remportera encore je ne serais absolument pas surpris.
C'est un surhomme, et un clean en plus, c'est tout.

Well, that's Contador 1 and Froome 1 then, as Froome absolutely caned Contador in 2013 .... So, this year the decider then ....
I'm sure Froome would have won TDF 2014 if he hadn't crashed. He crashed in the Dauphine too otherwise he would have won that. In that race Contador was struggling to hold his wheel and it gave a good indication of Froome's form.

Well after years of looking away, it isn't that strange people are questioning his Ventoux ride. Over the last few years the avg racing speed has been declining to a more realistic level, yet Froome manages to blow everyone away on that climb, with a wattage that is almost impossible for such a body. Of course people are wondering. As long as he isn't charged guilty without proof, everyone has the right to ask critical questions
For what it's worth, all of Lance's rivals were all doping too (Ullrich, Basso, Valverde, Contador) . And he still whooped them.

Yes the majority of the fastest times are TTs, but Froome's time is still several minutes slower than other times up. You're also forgetting that Mount Ventoux was earlier on in the race this year.
Another point you may want to consider is why would Froome risk doping? Why would Team Sky, Sky, British Cycling (lottery funded), etc etc all put their companies at risk like that? Them doping would be the end of those teams and sponsors.

que raro, el mejor del mundo en escalada quintana se desmalla y froome llega riendo ....
Team Sky , la nouvelle Us postal... Wiggins , qui chez cofidis grimpait les cols avec le gruppetto, a "muté" en 2 ans, en passant par garmin et sky, pour devenir un des meilleurs grimpeurs et améliorer encore ses performances en clm.. lol . Froome qui débarque de nul part et qui écrase tout . Porte qui connait une ascension fulgurante niveau performance etc etc... Le même schéma que l us postal quoi... Et y'en a qui croient encore qu ils sont clean =')... c'est grave d être naïf à ce point

2008-2010 Froome couldn't ride up a mole hill, let alone a mountain. Then with team Sky/Wiggins in 2011 he is flying over mountains while being forced to wait for Wiggins. See anything unusual in that scenario?
