Man, I really wish Bandai would really slow down with the Pbandai and start to put them in the standard releases.
the only standard release from this game is the full armor G07, and units 4-6 were P bandai as well
an obscure MS makes sense as a P Bandai especially when it comes from an older piece of Gundam media
To be fair, this comes from a game where in the Japanese perspective, the only thing that was of note was the 7th Gundam, this MS and the opening. It was not like a well liked game at all.

Yeah it's getting to the point I'm not even enjoying picking up pbandai it's more of just work and making sure you don't miss shit. No bandai plz reprint these 30 year old fucking hg instead of making this modern stuff a normal releases
The only Boundary that separates me and this kit is the Pbandai logo
Remember Premium Bandai just means exclusive to online in Japan, doesn't mean the kit is "premium" in terms of quality though we all wish that all kits get the premium treatment.

People should just stop beliving that P-Bandai does contain Premium in the sense as we think it is. But opening sentences like the one of this video aren't going to help with that missconception.
Yes it has a premium price tag for everyone not lucky enough to live in a supported countrie, but it's just not a premium item.
P Bandai literally has a US website even if you wanna blanket Asia as "Japan".
So that we website is still recent. Also you missed the point there was a time when P-Bandai or limited releases was only available in Japan and rarely other Asian countries, and it was mostly different color palette of already existing kits, sometimes it was a variation of an already released kit. It was NEVER a thing where they made special kits just P-Bandai

gatling missiles have a long, storied tradition in mecha. Voltes V, Getter Robo, and beyond.

The are large caliber gatling autocannons. Thus the "smasher" part of the name. They pack quite a punch.
They're fun to use in GBO2

Getting more UC0081 suits is a good thing, because I'm hoping we'll finally get an HG kit of the NORMAL RX-78-7 7th Gundam soon.
I too have been wanting a normal HGUC 7th Gundam for a while.
@@reijigamer It's always weird to me that they bother to make the FA of the 7th GUndam but not the normal 7th despite it being the closest to the normal RX-78-2.
@@jaderabbit898 I think it being closest to the RX-78-2 is the reason the FA version was released. I can barely tell the designs apart and that would be confusing to have both a RX-78-2 and a normal 7th Gundam on shelves.
@@reijigamer True, but then again, it wouldn't hurt to complete the RX-78 lines. Granted some are harder to get than others but it'd be nice to finally see all 7 *8* side by side.
@@jaderabbit898 yeah the RX-78 line is hard to get. Is there even a HG Prototype Gundam? I have the HG RX-78-3 that came as a twin pack with Char's Rick Dom which isn't easy to get let alone the G-3 Revive version. I was able to get HGs of Units 4 and 5 during the first preorders but haven't caught a reprint of the Mudrock. On a side note, I like to joke that the Requiem for Vengeance RX-78 Gundam is the 8th RX-78. There is some negative space that looks kind of like an 8 on the inside of the kit's shield.
Im just glad the G-Line is getting some representation. This thing is a great series of suits to use in the MSG:BO2

Fun fact… the new Figure rise Standard Avatar Fumina has G-Line Gatling smashers and other armor pieces as standard 😛

I've been wanting a kit of this since I discovered it through the game Gundam Battle Operation 2, and I was genuinely surprised when I learned the G-Line lineage effectively _had_ no form of figure or model kit representation after all this time
when I learned it had been announced for P-Bandai HG, I was ecstatic, and Im SO glad to see and hear that it is as good a kit as it looks, and of the G-Line's, Im really glad they did the Standard Armor first, and appreciate that they made the bare G-Line itself an option as well
I'm excited for mine it's coming next week

19:35 A bit of FYI since the G Line had 3 different type of armor and weaponry, easch of the configuration can be mix matched with ease.
E.g, G Line Standard with Light Armor Missile/Assault Armor Cannon.....and vice versa
With all that part separation I'm really excited for the Mega Man Color scheme I'm gonna try on this guy! IDK what it was but when I saw the preview for this that's all that came to mind, so gotta make it so!
I just know they’re gonna do an expansion set for the other armor sets, P-Bandai of course.

would say it's an inspiration for SEED's Blu-Duel
as for in universe; from the armor options for the Gundam Alex, combined with the production of Powered GM, Custom GM and the Pale Rider series.
Does the gatling backpack extender work with the alternate, 6-thruster backpack?
It's truly the most beautiful model kit, I have ever seen.
MG Gundam MkV is also PBandai only.
I've got this kit and it feels like an entirely different kind of gunpla. It's got features the a new that you dont see often and some things that aren't on it that feel like it really should be (why dont the the massive feet seperate but the wrists have a unique twist). I know this and the gm spartan are from some obscure games but they are completely new designs with unique builds and features (its the only hg i can think of that has the vulcans colour seperated. It would probably sell out anyway because of the unique and cool design along with the spartan if it was released a regular. Luckily I got mine early though so I guess I won't have to worry about scalpers.
Only just noticed the Avatar Fumina is based on this :O While she's still using Cardigan colours, she's definitely got the same Gatling Smasher style backpack.

I think the beam rifle and shield is similiar to the old HG release, the HG Full Armor Gundam 7th, it may be old but it still kicks, for me that is
Since the GM Spartan has the ability to mount equipment on the back skirts, and this kit has the awesome beam rifle the release of a GM Spartan (RG) from Code Fairy being made is becoming more of a certainty lol.
Equipping the armor reminds me of the Core Gundam.
The Standard Armor being the same blue as the Earthree doesn't help :P

Not sure but it is in gundam battle operations 2 as a starter unit.
P-Bandai was never meant to be premium quality; it just means just limited-production (and I'm pretty sure you knew that, but you wanted to make a point about how good this kit is). It was *supposed* to only be for niche recolors and minor parts variants that wouldn't have been worth it for retailers to stock. The kit quality itself was never supposed to be any different from standard Bandai kits.
There was some backlash against the HG Pale Rider, which originally released as a tie-in with the Missing Link PS3 game, being added exclusively to P-Bandai's catalogue bc it was the first time an original gunpla mold in its entirety wasn't available via retail. Now it's just kind of normal.
Nowadays, retailers seem to have more sway over what kits they stock as well, which might also influence P-Bandai decisions. When the HG Age line came out, a notable bluefin (pre-Bandai acquisition, ofc) rep complained about Bandai forcing them to stock HG Age kits despite them not selling well.
It feels like talking to a wall in regards to that topic. People like him won't ever really consider the cultural differnces when it comes to using words, terms and phrases from other languages in another language, in this case english in Japan.
A P-Bandai item is by all means, just a limited item like any other exclusive one can get. Be it at a store, a event or whatever.
I sadly, did not get the initial wave ordered. However, I DID get a later one. So about July for me. Along with the Lfrith Pre-Production and the Heingra 😂Now looking even MORE forward to their arrival
I have all the G-Line units on GBO2 and they are so much fun. I hope they do the other units and re-release the Efreet Nacht!!!

I’d like a video talking about noteworthy P-Bandai kits.
This kit and GM Spartan are the few premium bandai kits that actually make me feel "premium".
However this kit has a minor flaw that is the connection part of the gatling smashers is loose and easy to fall apart after rotating the gatling smashers front and back for awhile.
Well, this is me. Wishin for a MSG 00 revive. They did it with wing and Seed, which had multiple gundams. Hope they do that to 00 as well.
For those who don’t know, this is the second kit from Battle Record 0081. The first was the HG Full Armor Gundam 7th.

Interesting even I know the existence of those machine in the lore, the design is surprisingly similar to Gundams of 00 season 1 when it comes into modelkit, especially Dynames, in a good way. The unique shape of chest section, the leg, shoulder armor with hardpoints, the round disk in ear position. Sunrise 🌄 owns them all btw.
When will you review the HG Full Armor Gundam 7th which comes from the same game??
Mecha apparently forgot that UC invented the Full Armor system and the Duel Gundam is the derivative of that concept
tbf, Mecha was never really a big Gundam Lore kinda guy since he hasn't even seen Gundam Seed or Zeta, he just loves the kits that came out from them cus Big Robot Models are kewl.

I did not know about this kit therefore don´t know they appereance BUT those gatlings look exactly like missile pods even they have the thin line in each "pod" like the one heavyarms have in their missile pods

I preferred when p-bandai was just recolours or pilot specific versions of suits. Modern day p-bandai has been the bain of every gundam fan outside of Japan.
They should have a re run in The future but I should have snapped it up when pre orders were up
the beam rifle reminds me of the Spartan rifle from Halo, though a bit different design wise.
I hate how this is p bandai during a long drought that lasted more than a year for any hguc or ac kits. And funny enough the bad counterpoint people tried to push was witch of mercury taking up the slots. They forgot hguc/ac always comes out with normal releases every year no matter what till recently. Also remember the Guntank missile launchers work like a machine gun in some adaptations.

The most effed up line in P-bandai is the Wing series and EW. While most series and OVA are normal produced, the W line is p-ban for what's in the animation and normal production for Manga. I've waited 10years for the prices to come down.

Getting 7th Full Armor Gundam vibes, just by its design, and the similarities between them: Backpack, beam rifle although different, shield, and maybe its full armor I guess. Should look into 7th gundam despite its age, is really great build imo.

honestly I prefer p bandai to be variants and not completely unique kits, unique kits should be regular releases so everyone can get ahold of them, and an exclusive service should be variants so that way if you want that color you can either buy the extra money for the p bandai version or get a regular version and paint it yourself

Completely agree. Sometimes I find out about cool new designs from kits, and I would be a buying customer if it wasn’t for the ridiculous p-Bandai rarity and prices at my local shops. Plus Bandai wastes their resources on things like Metaverse and Gwitch's endless recolors while this is exclusive.

People always parrot this shit around because they don't understand how business works.
Bandai has thousands of molds and products that aren't discontinued, meaning they are spread extremely thin. Also, Bandai has a pattern of timing retail releases/reprints with anniversaries and big media releases like a new movie, with few exceptions. That's why you see recolors of old kits being sold as retail releases. The sales of these kits are banking on existing hype. It has always been this way and always will be.
With that said, HG G-Line would have NEVER seen the light of day if it wasn't for P-Bandai. So I'd rather Bandai make these kits limited release than not make them at all.
Some gunpla fans are seriously entitled. If they got into other plamo like car kits, they'd understand true scarcity.

Bandai has never said that P-Bandai would exclude new molds. P-Bandai is composed of Variation items, Expansion items, and Special items. If anything the Special items category is so vague that it kinds of implies new molds. Like does anyone care that not only does the HGUC Neo Zeong didn't come with Psycho Shards but the P-Bandai Psycho Shards expansion set (technically a new mold like a lot of the expansion sets) gets reprinted more often than the retail kit it is for.

Not really f90 had kits in 90s, but this gm design is an upgrade to rx-81

9:07 "I've had enough of this shit." G-Line GM feels like a UC-0079 or maybe UC Engage-ified "Nero" MS, and I love that, I've wanted a HG or MG Nero for a long time. (It also feels like a UC vers of Barbatos Form 6, very nice.
Edit; Also also feels like if Narrative Gundam stock version had a baby with a GM, so nice looking. 12:05 (It's basically the 7th Gundam shield though noticably different. I only wish there were waterslides
In the game one of the 2 G-Lines takes its true form the 7th Gundam. It's not a coincidence that the backpack is in there. In the manga it does not use the G-Line frame inside. HGUC 7th Gundam(if they finally release it) will not entirely be a new mold due to the later.

P-Bandai should be relegated to clear versions and that kind of stuff tbh. The Lfrith test type from the prologue of Gwitch and the GM spartan should not be pbandai at all
Same goes with all G unit kits
The Lfrith Test Type is a machine from the Prologue that's a "sub" variant of the retail Lfrith, while the GM Spartan is from an MSV. They're actually both the kind of designs you'd expect to be in P-Bandai.
