Well done. I only have one aesthetic issue with it. IMO, take that for what you will, it would have been better to use the same brass or bronze metal you made the handle plates from to rivet it together. Seeing the raw copper throws off the aesthetic to me.
Annealing correction treatment is required, but cutting can also be performed without annealing treatment, but it will affect the life of the band saw blade

The purpose is to insulate heat and do partial heat treatment, so that the middle will remain soft and prevent breakage
