    Guess they could've just released something like a Q30 Pro with the LDAC profile and wearing detection. No need to add a whole new product to their catalog with such a increase in price
    I currently own the Q10 and it's been a blast to me how good these sound for the price I paid. Your review is awesome and helped me a lot in understanding both of Soundcore's top over-the-ear models. I'd surely get a pair of Q30's just for the noise cancelling in the end

    The LDAC alone was worth the price diff from the q30 for me. Sound so much richer, not like my grado but good enough for me for the wireless comfort.
    Additionally, play hi res music in best LDAC quality 909 kbps.. there is a noticeable difference between the lower LDAC rate. Music is smoother and well behaved.. none of those harsh and grating highs. Bass is full and rounded not choppy.

      Yes, burn in does change the sound signature slightly, but I can tell you, it's not enough to make a difference in sound quality between these two models. Honestly, the "better" part is subjective... It's based on opinion alone, I prefer a tad more bass (nothing booming) but it has to hit and not be muddy and the Q30s just have a little "thicker" sound.

    Oddly enough I prefer the old case with the molding inside and the pocket on the side.
    I prefer the new color of headphones, it's less cheap, but I think there is a special edition of the Q30 with the same color.
    But seriously I will not advise anyone to pay double for just a codec and especially a low-end case.
    Doubling the price from one generation to the next is really not cool.

    @barneythedino4301 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    The thing about the Q30s is that they already have a lot of bass, but they're not very accurate with the presentation. For the Q35s, I wasn't expecting an increase of bass, but an increase of mids for open-sounding clarity and for the bass to stay the same. Also, I believe people were asking mostly for AptX than LDAC.

    • @nativerezmedia
      @nativerezmedia  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, don't know why they went with Ldac, I would assume just for the title. Aptx would have been fine. The mids are fine for me with the Q30s and yes, the 30s had plenty of bass already.

      I wouldn't say I prefer the sound of the Q35s over the Q30s... They both have a similar sound signature. The Q35s, just had a slight bit more low end that bled into the mids, a couple updates later and some Eq tweaking they sound great. The only thing that's makes the Q35s better is the material quality, and extra features... If you can find the Q35s on sale, definitely go for them.

    Dude, I am pretty sure you are using the audio without high res there, because when you connect no headphones can actually make the phone automatically switch to the Ldac format so you have to actually go into the developer settings and manually change it yourself if you want to use it with the highest quality performance, without doing that your phone will use the same codec as the q30s and it will sound pretty much the same. Can you quickly do this and upload an update because this is something seriously important.

    • @ekaraca2006
      @ekaraca2006 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      because if you don't change to the Ldac codec from the developer settings it will sound exactly the same as the q30s

      Hey, I'm using LDAC, it's in the Bluetooth settings on my phone for the set. For other headphones I have it might be AAC, or SBC. Ldac might sound marginally better, but it skips more sometimes. I never said LDAC wasn't better, I just said for most users we won't utilize it.

    Thank you for this review because I found it interesting. Surprised that you found the sound quality is better on the Q30 even though it has the worse codec of the two. Logically the Q35 should sound better when you A B them together when using FLAC or other lossless file types. I personally don't like the blue colour so that alone stops me from buying them.

      They eventually released a black color, but still, i hope anker release and update for these headphones, because they have tons of potential, but the default bass settings sucks really bad, the bass is too powerful for my taste and ruins the details of the song, even with custom EQ or plain mode (that is the mode that i always use in all my headphones)

    If You Have Q35s Powered On For Wired Listening The Audio Absolutely Will Not Sound Right . Maybe Your Q35s Are Wired Different Than My Q35s But Sony XM3 XM4 XM5 Are The ANC Headphones That Have To Be Turned On During Wired Listening To Sound Correct .

I know El Jefe & A Few Other Reviewers We're Saying With Q45 You Could Not Even Listen Wired Powered Off At All But When I Got My Q45 The 1st Thing I Did Was Listen Wired Passively AKA Powered Off And They Sounded Amazing Even Better Than LDAC On PRIORITY ON SOUND QUALITY .

      I have Q35 And Q45 And Enjoy Them Both But One Is Better With LDAC LISTENING When PRIORITY ON SOUND QUALITY Is Chosen
      Q35 Come In 2 Colors BLACK AND BLUE . I Went With The Blue .
      Q45 Come In 3 Colors BLACK , BLUE AND WHITE . You Gotta See Those White Q45s ! ! !
      Q35 LDAC Listening with PRIORITY ON SOUND QUALITY I get a lot of cut outs in the audio I'm Listening to .
      Q45 LDAC Listening with PRIORITY ON SOUND QUALITY I Never Get Any cut outs in the Both Q35 And Q45 Audio I'm Listening to .
      Q35 Transparency Is Not Very Good At All Sounding Muffled . I End Up Just Removing Them So I Can Hear People .
      Q45 Transparency Sounds Like I'm Not Wearing Headphones At All . I Leave Them ON And Hear People Just Fine .
      Q35 ANC Is Just OK .
      Q45 ANC Is Way Better Getting Closer To Sony XM3 XM4 Quality .
      Q35 Look Good Especially In Blue And Good Build Quality.
      Q45 Are Real Lookers And Look To Be Built Even Better Than Q35 Especially In The Adjustment Mechanism .
      Q35 Are Lighter And More Comfortable With More Cushion ON Top Than Q45 .
      Q45 Are Heavier With Less Cushion ON Top And More Clamping Force Than Q35 .
      Q35 Have Harder Punchier Bass Than Q45 .
      Q45 Have Less Bass But Still Enjoyable Bass However Nothing I've Done Makes Q45 As Punchy As Q35 Bass .
      Q35 Has Auto Pause Funtion But It Works Even When In Just Chewing Or Yawning So I Disabled It .
      Q45 Don't Have Auto Pause Function Which Is Fine Since I'd Just Disable It Anyway .
      Q35 & Q45 Can Be Listened Wired Passively AKA Powered Off And They Both Sound Their Absolute AweSomeNess PerSoNiFied Best Like This .
      My Humble Wired Setup Is - ZFold3 - To Hidizs S9 Pro DAC / AMP DONGLE - To Q35 / Q45
      When You Listen Wired Be Sure They Are Powered Off Else The Audio Will Not Sound Right .
      Q35 Clamp Force Has Never Been Uncomfortable .
      Q45 Clamp Force Has ON Occasion Been Uncomfortable So I Had To Adjust Every So Often .
      The Q35 & Q45 Both Have Really Good Sound With The Q45 Having A Tad Less Bass Punch But I'd Say The Q45s Sound Is More Refined .
      Do I Think The Q45 Are A Worthy Buy Over The Q35 Or As An Upgrade To Q35 . My Opinion Is As Follows .
      With Q45 We Get Way Better ANC Way Better Transparency A Better Look And Build A More Refined Sound Albeit With A Less Punchy Bass And The Q45 Come In 3 Colors BLACK , BLUE & WHITE And All For Just $150 Which Amzon Is Offering A $20 Off Coupon As Of 11.15.2022 Making Them $129.99 Before Taxes So Yeah They Are Totally Worth It Even At $149.99 .

      Yeah, there is a difference in sound quality, but it wasn't enough to justify the price difference. Now, with today's prices, it is. I still think originally the Q30s had better base than the 35s.

    I'm wearing right now the Life Q20, they still keep the same mistake, VERY HEAVY HUGE headphones !!
    I'm selling my Life Q20 because it's so heavy so huge. They MUST start making a more compact headphones,
    Just look how it looks on his head, it goes like 2 meters in each side ? WHY ?!!! WHY to make it so HUGE so wide ?
    Are these headphones made for humans or dinosaurs ? SoundCore are you listening ?!!
