Couple things. 1. Mom told me I always give you your fav gifts and none were mentioned so she lied to me. 2. I wish I woulda watched this before I did you’re shopping 😂 because you’re right. Dads are the HARDEST. These were all awesome ideas!

I help my dad decorate his house little by little without being too intrusive. He has always been very frugal so he has an interesting collection of stuff from the 70's, 80's and 90's plus hand me downs. I make note of things he needs or things he needs replaced because they are SO old. He doesn't have a wife so guess what happens when a single man has daughters (in his case only me)? We take on a lot of wifely duties. But he does pretty well on his own for being 71. He still uses a flip phone and clips it to his belt. He will carry around his digital camera from 15 years ago. Gotta love my dad! Lol

Everytime me&my mom bought something nice and useful for my dad. My dad won’t even bother to open it from the packaging, let alone use it. He’d say, “I’M PRESERVING IT!!” 🥺😂
So the best gift would be foods! He loves chocolate (it’s bad for his health I know). But I can’t help to buy him cupcakes for special days! 💖
