Chrysler is in exactly the same position as Plymouth in 1999. At that time they had only the Grand Voyager, Voyager, Breeze, Neon and Prowler. Chrysler has even fewer options in their lineup today, 300 and Pacifica.
Chrysler so pretty much if you get a 300c you get a body kit with either a V6 or a 345 R/T engine yeah that's going to sell cars for sure. If people are buying fast cars like the hellcat and 392 Scatpacks wouldn't you think it's time to give the 300 the same SRT treatment as the charger and challenger
Thanks for the update on the 300. I have a 2019 300S with the hemi and have major mods coming soon to the engine. I'll build mines up to keep up with a hellcat
They are fast I own one..but understand the definition of a muscle car is a two door coupe/sedan..4 seats rear drive with a V8..preferably a big block..4 door sedans are not muscle cars no matter how fast they are..just like a Corvette is not a muscle car but a sports car..hence the 2 seats.
@@ThePauliebuck You forgot one criteria, full size, this is why the Mustang for example which meats all your other criteria isn't a muscle car. That said if someone wants to call my 300C a muscle car, that's cool with me, it's a proud title to hold.
@@snek9353 yes ..just like the Cuda and Challenger and the Stsng all consider Tram Amm series cars and they are not at least in theory not true by definition not true Muscle cars..but that's only on paper..
I wonder if you can get a new 300 at a greatly discounted price since their not selling all that well. I still love the look of this car, maybe something to consider if the price is right!
I’m sure if you went to the dealership knowing that information and just start negotiating maybe it could work. If they have any 2019s left those should be pretty heavily discounted by now as well
I can’t believe they got rid of that gray color, I’m in the market to buy a brand new one and I’m super upset they got rid of that color, I was gonna get it fully loaded too😫
Chrysler 300s are SOOO underrated for some reason. You do realize a BWM or Audi with the same features (give or add a few) would go for nearly twice as much and not have the same reliability. Around 42K is not bad for what you get: luxury and reliability at a great price.
Take next year’s Pacifica Pinnacle and apply that luxury to the 300, give it suicide doors, and the Uconnect 12 inch screen, rename it the Imperial and you have a proper luxury sedan. If Daimler choked it back in 06, surely Fiat and Peugeot would allow the idea now.
My dad works for the design team with Chrysler. They will no longer be designing a next gen Chrysler 300. They are done with cars as sales aren’t great with cars in general. They moved on to strictly jeeps, suvs, minivans, and chargers and challengers. Sad, I love the 300 styling
Can’t even find a 2020 300 in my area, all they have are 2019’s and very few of them. It cost more to lease this vehicle than, buy them, really crazy. There’s no doubt in my m9nd that this will be it for the 300.
MC_P_123 ......I’ve been leasing vehicles since 1980 and leasing is always cheaper than purchasing the vehicle. If the lease payment is $100 to $200 more per month you’d be a fool to lease it. Just buy it and trade it in after 3 or 4 years. That’s the only thing that makes sense to me.
Serious question 300 owners, why should I purchase a 300 over a BMW 3 series or a Mercedes C class? Money is not a issue for me but let us keep it relative to 3 series or C class pricing (around€40,000) for conversation sake.
I have the SRT version. If you compare the price of the Chrysler vs say an AMG C63 we are talking around 100k Australian in difference. I know the Mercedes is a nicer car but is it 100k nicer?
Well let's see... 1. Money, purchase price aside the 300 will be cheaper to own as maintenance and repair costs are lower. 2. Speaking of repair, the 3 series and C class have developed horrible reliability/repair reputations lately while the 300 has only gotten better. 3. Style, a 3 series or C class is just another ehhh, but a nice 300, now that's a modern connoisseurs car. 4. Interior, the German cars have that typical nice but harsh German interior. A nice 300C has a true luxury interior. 5. Murica, assuming you're an American, then buy American, America first, MAGA, be proud of your nation and it's products. EDIT, just noticed you used € not $, so European? If so, well F those German bastards for F'ing up the EU.
I’m really contemplating trading in my 2012 charger rt max for a 2021 Chrysler 300S. Hemi only of course. I wanna help the sales and i wanna break away from the super loud and powerful style. Want some luxury taste and still have that Hemi power but with a cleaner less aggressive look
I’ve driven both and gotta say the 300 Interior is a very nice place to be and you still have basically the same Hemi. So it’s a change but not a huge one, and the 300 is still a beautiful vehicle. Whichever you decide you can’t go wrong in my opinion 👍🏼
@@MarspeedCars thanks for the input! Definitely gotta drive it, can’t let go of the charger so easy. I think I’m addicted to that radar red leather tho 👌🏼
@@nicholasmargagliano1833 yeah that’s what I’m worried about because you have the RT Max it’s fully loaded and has the red interior! And the 300 doesn’t stand out as much and is a more comfortable ride so you have to think about if you’d want those things. You do have the 8-speed auto tranny though which is huge with the 300
@@MarspeedCars my max has the red exterior with black leather and the red door strips inside. AWD too. It’s a mean ride, but it’s 8 years old now, almost 9 😬. Again, thanks for your input marspeed, definitely gotta get in a dealer soon, but Hemi 300s are needles in haystacks
Oh gotcha you meant on the 300S interior! Well honestly you could always build a new one how you want online or at the dealer, just find one to test drive first even if it’s not all the specs you want! Happy to give my input bro!
The 300 C with its quilted two tone interiors are still very opulent luxury cars. I’ve never understood why people excuse Mercedes and BMW for their unreliability in exchange for performance but chastise Chrysler products that deliver for far less and break down far less and cost less to repair. I guess we just hate our own nation.
I’ve owned two Mercedes and a BMW and none of them ever ran for more than three months without requiring some sort of unscheduled maintenance, often requiring repairs while coming out of the dealer’s maintenance department which was the highest rated on the east coast of the United States. I have no time to spend on such frivolities as I’m busy in business and require an automobile that works. Most of the people that I’ve known have abandoned the two brands for the same reason and have either gone to conventional brands or Lexus.
@@LlyleHunter Never owned a BMW or Mercedes and never will, I turned wrenches for a living for a while and worked on both. It's like they design them to be hard to work on. Repairs that should be simple require complete disassembly which then requires special tools. I can't even imagine what dealer repairs cost. FWIW of the Japanese brands Nissan is my favorite from that perspective. Their better vehicles are well made and made with maintenance in mind. And of course no complaints in that regard about my 300 so far either. I got my mom a new Maxima in 2001, in 19 years it's only needed 5 repairs and only been towed once. A starter, ignition coils, front wheel bearings, CV shafts, and an Idle air control solenoid. So far nothing on my '14 300, except the very common issue with the leather dash.
Exactly Snek. I couldn’t believe the operating costs. Some years I could have bought a Durango SXT like I have now and set it on fire without claim the insurance and it would have been cheaper to buy a new one than it cost me to maintain that S-Class. Two years it cost over thirty thousand dollars in maintenance and repair costs and the BMW 5 Series was just as bad. I’ve had my Durango since 2012 and I’m on my second battery, replaced my cabin filter and replaced my first headlight last week. That’s been everything. I had a Dakota for six years prior to that which was completely trouble free but was hit by some guy on the run from the police while it was parked and before that I had two really good Hondas but my Accord needed a transmission twice. Still I’ll never buy another European car again.
@@LlyleHunter "Two years it cost over thirty thousand dollars in maintenance and repair costs" - Holly shit, I only paid $17K for my loaded 300C 5.7 AWD JVL in the first place. If you add in the depreciation those cars suffer, that buys two good used 300s.
Please do a video for 2020 - 2019 Chrysler 300 SRT, go to the Chrysler Australia website and read about it and make a video, maybe Chrysler will listen and sale it in North America. Please man do it

With sedan sales plummeting. My guess is FCA doesn't want to invest the money to totally redesign the 300. They inherited the 200 when they purchased Chrysler who had put millions into it's development. After three years it was discontinued. Having owned a 2015 200S. It was an Attractive car, but was cramped in the rear seat and with the sloping roofline. It was tight entering and exiting the car. Built on a front wheel drive chassis a performance version was not a viable possibility such as adding a Hemi which FCA has done in nearly every model they sell. My 200 also had transmission issues from day one creating 7 visits to the service department during the first year of ownership. Unfortunately, I see the 300 being discontinued within a couple years as all R&D money is likely earmarked for EV development and continued revamping of their SUV lineup. I really like my new 300C. It still has it's unique styling that seperates it from the other sedans being sold. Ample passenger room. Technology. Refinement from the years of basically being the same car for decades while offer V8 performance only found in more experience brands. My plan is to hold on to my 300C and enjoying the special enjoyment of driving it. Maybe someday my grandkids will pull it from the garage and like me. See how special this car was in a time that SUVs were the consumer choice and EV cars were just starting to replace the rumbling V8s. I had passed on purchasing a 300 for many years until taking my first extended test drive a few months ago. It's a true rear wheel luxury vehicle that offers performance if you pick the right options. I find it to be a fantastic car.
I Love my black with mocha interior 2018 300C and it's Hemi performance. I purchased a dealer demo with just over 6000 miles at half the price as one with zero mileage. Same new car warranty. I can't understand why Chrysler has all the alucard options. Example. My car came with a $30.00 optional cargo net. Really. Now I see some pricing increases for the 2020 300 with expensive optional packages. Since this car hasn't changed for a decade. Include safety options like bliss in the S & C's base price. I can park my car next to a 2020 and no one would know that it's a 2018. My point is there are no major differences. If your looking for a 300. I recommend going with a slightly used demo, or low mileage certified pre-owned and save thousands.
I gott be honest the market isnt shifting to SUVs companies are making the market shift toward SUVs by saying that's what's happening if that was the case back in 2008 when this "shift" started happening that means that consumers would have been purchasing SUVs WITH OUT companies advertising If what they are saying is true then people would have been purchasing what SUVs were available more then they were purchasing cars which there were a lot more of at that time nothing would have made consumers purchase SUVs back in the 2000s if there wasn't a desire to unless companies just started advertising that which is what they did
Why is anyone even talking about a car that is 9 years old in its current iteration, and rides on a platform dating back to the early 2000's? This vehicle is ancient and badly needs to to be updated. What possible resale value could it have after it's purchased?
So Chrysler is saying we've given up on development but if anyone still wants the same old car we'll through them out there for sale. If there is still interest in the Charger and Challenger you'd think a sportier face lift and giving the 300 a more athletic image might boost sales but l think FCA may be content with just allowing Chrysler to die. It's a shame
After watching this video is seems like someone high up in the Chrysler organization said let's make the car one more year boost up the price o by the way take away all the Mopar attachments oh by the way no more srt's for the United States but we can overcharge them for attachment pieces😤😡😤
Not liking the body design at all. They took the car from looking absolutely classic(05) and rather than just slightly tweeking the exterior they completely ruined it. It used to look like a Bentley, now it looks like Shamu.
I suppose that’s why those vehicles are selling well. But to me they are just everywhere and I’d rather have the much cooler looking 300 (especially with the V8). The others are all 4 cylinder now and just don’t have the same presence, but of course I’m biased since I like Chrysler lol
Oh i would NOT SUV´s, the FUTURE is for MID & FULLSIZE SEDANS.... The trend with the SUV´s arrived in the highest level, and now we could see that some goes away from the SUV´s & back, or even now to a elegant &/or sporty Sedan in the mid- & fullsize class. For a Automaker it´s bad, if they cancle cars like the 300 or something else with the right platform design (Must have: RWD, or AWD, NEVER FWD, that´s for sure....) And yes, there was some years when people swapped to buy a SUV. But i know soo many peopl who´ll sell the SUV in the next time to buy a larger sedan or wagon. And now after they had a SUV they like a larger sedan. But for an Automaker it is so importand to sell the Mid & Fullsize sedan & wagon models too. To cancle a car like the 300 is one of the biggest fails what FCA could do! However it is a Charger, a 300 or a Challenger. I´m a Auto Designer/Stylist and I´ve some very amazing Design Studies / Drawings for a new Charger, a new Chevy Impala and also an Ford Grand Torino, too. And the most importand factor in the styling for cars like this is that you take a look at the Automakers history and the design and Styling of their GLDEN YEARS. And for Ford it was the Ford Grand Torino what could be a amazing, beautiful sedan like the charger. Also offered with Ford V8 and RWD. For Chevrolet the bad styling of the latest Caprice, or even "Police Pursuit Vehicle" that was a great designed car with the Body on Frame Design (RELLY GREAT!) the styling was the big problem, and i took that platform to give this Caprice & also real Impala a styling of the GOLDEN YEARS of the Chevrolet Impala lineup; The 65, 66 and mostly 1967 styling was the inspiration for the new Impala/Caprice Model, what uses the platform of the latest caprice, and the great Chevy V8´s...In my eyes it is also importand to sell there models also with a Turbocharged Inline 5 Cylinder engine. what should be new designed. The 5 Cylinder in inline design are really really great engines. they´ve also a amazing, beautiful sound because it is not an 4 cylinder ;) and they are so much more in power, variations and possibilities in all. I think even the golden 5 is the great ideo for the smaller engine series in these mid-Fullsize sedans. However 6 Cyl. are also great, i think the cancle the toooo small 4 cylinders series for a new 5 cylinder series. But the all time MUST HAVE is the V8 series of all those Automakers. The ideo with the 5 cyl. is only to cancle the 4 cyl. because a turbocharged 4 cyl. is a really to overblown engine in vehicles with more than 1500kg. Because you can see that problem in the whole auto industry, that they often canceled the really good 6 or even 8 cylinders, and took 4 cyl. with a lot boost to get the same power what the 6 & 8 cyl. made. and the engine failures, serieous motor damages, massiver blown 4 cyl. engines are the result. but for me that isn´t new or something else like that. that was for sure! A 4 Cyl. in a car with more than 1500kg is a 1 way junk car what could never make high mile rates ore even the same problem is about that high power output out of a 4 cyl. with turbocharging. They´re ALL to overboosted out of the stock. only 10 years ago, when they began with too high poweroutput with tubroboost in production, i sayed: Oh NO! These egnine series are all junk out of the stock. we didn´t used that pressures and poweroutput in race car series or also tuning. because we know, that is a lot too much. ad when you take a look at the volkswagen company, they had the lowest poweroutput of all makes. and then they begann with these overboosting of tiniest engines. that was a speciality of makes like Alfa Romeo or someone else who made real motorsport engines. but never VW/Audi! And it was the VW/Audi Company who got & get the most blown engines in the whole industry. WE KNOW WHY!
It's time for a redesign. How do they expect this car to still be selling when its old af. I guarantee if they redesigned it would sell like the Charger and Challenger.
This car is super boring at this point I loved my 300 but after my crash I selected a Cadillac an I’m truly in love with my CTS4 after I get back from boot camp I’m putting a chip I’m going to black it out
If I was one of these people at Chrysler, I would say, were gonna make make 1 million srt’s in America and sell them for 100k each, with all the bells and whistles , and call it “THE COLLECTORS EDITION”. And then we’re discontinuing them !!!!! They would make a fat wad of cash !!!!!
I purchase 300 limited last year brand new engine 3.6 v6 nice car but turns to👉🍋☹️ shifting noise making loud clunk when u shift the gear☹️ un quality v6 interior to be honest for money which is i paid 30k not worth all interior in plastics very cheap☹️ not recommending to buy any American muscles at all.

I wonder if you can get a new 300 at a greatly discounted price since their not selling all that well. I still love the look of this car, maybe something to consider if the price is right!
I’m sure if you went to the dealership knowing that information and just start negotiating maybe it could work. If they have any 2019s left those should be pretty heavily discounted by now as well
On new, invoice is invoice, if looking to buy just know what invoice and holdback are, then look to Chrysler for rebates.
300s is one of my dream cars
Dodges and Cadillacs sell, the 300 should be to. That the 300 isn't selling is on Chrysler not the American buyer.
$3000 for the 5.7 is nuts, and a rip.
Can’t even find a 2020 300 in my area, all they have are 2019’s and very few of them. It cost more to lease this vehicle than, buy them, really crazy. There’s no doubt in my m9nd that this will be it for the 300.
it always cost more to lease something, you pay interest for being allowed to pay slowly.
My favorite Chrysler product.
I still love my 2012 Chrysler 300.
If Chrysler where to make a 3rd Gen Srt8 I’m sure it would boom.
Its beautifully built american sedan. Hoping they continue producing

Well said
I’ve owned two Mercedes and a BMW and none of them ever ran for more than three months without requiring some sort of unscheduled maintenance, often requiring repairs while coming out of the dealer’s maintenance department which was the highest rated on the east coast of the United States.
@@LlyleHunter "Two years it cost over thirty thousand dollars in maintenance and repair costs"
- Holly shit, I only paid $17K for my loaded 300C 5.7 AWD JVL in the first place. If you add in the depreciation those cars suffer, that buys two good used 300s.
Please do a video for 2020 - 2019 Chrysler 300 SRT, go to the Chrysler Australia website and read about it and make a video, maybe Chrysler will listen and sale it in North America. Please man do it

Yes they’ll fit any 300 of any year
Why is it so hard to find a 300C with black with deep mocha interior? I'm ready to buy one but the dealer said I couldn't.
They need to remove some of those packages and add them as standard features. They have way to many choices.

Nice car, but it should be about 30 inches longer and have a front bench seat.
Then it would need a colum shift whitewalls to
Used to be my favorite car
Yeah I personally don't want them to redesign it, unless you really know the details of these cars my '14 looks just like a '20.
Nice 😀

Are the seats still flat and hard as fvck?
I gott be honest the market isnt shifting to SUVs companies are making the market shift toward SUVs by saying that's what's happening if that was the case back in 2008 when this "shift" started happening that means that consumers would have been purchasing SUVs WITH OUT companies advertising If what they are saying is true then people would have been purchasing what SUVs were available more then they were purchasing cars which there were a lot more of at that time nothing would have made consumers purchase SUVs back in the 2000s if there wasn't a desire to unless companies just started advertising that which is what they did
Can u watch TH-cam on it
Why is anyone even talking about a car that is 9 years old in its current iteration, and rides on a platform dating back to the early 2000's? This vehicle is ancient and badly needs to to be updated. What possible resale value could it have after it's purchased?
How does one improve on perfection?
Your description says 2020 charger
Thanks I fixed it!
For 30 - 40k might as well get a certified pre owned 3 series, A4, or C class.

For a Automaker it´s bad, if they cancle cars like the 300 or something else with the right platform design (Must have: RWD, or AWD, NEVER FWD, that´s for sure....)
And yes, there was some years when people swapped to buy a SUV.
TheLU83 sedans as a whole r going down they need to focus more on suvs to make a profit
There's no improving on perfection.
