Thanks for the review MLP. I love the Gamer Pro and Bubble Bobble. I love all that you can do with it. It’s like having a Legends Ultimate on your TV screen.
I love how you can use the 2nd stick to shoot for games like Smash tv,Tutankham, ect n also love the trackball for Centipede,Millipede,Missile Command,ect...
I have been looking for something like this, so many options, 4 player mode, byog , steam , trackball this is amazing. The snk asp had issues with two player not having all 8 buttons working and mayflash havent done a update on magic s pro to support it so its limited unfortunately. This is showing that at games are serious competition now, they are finally doing great quality products. How do you install coin ops into this? Could you do a video on that please. Definitely this has more features and games than the capcom home arcade and is more of a comfortable design with palm resting space. Are they available in the UK yet?
I agree. So long as it's easy to add games. I like the spin ball for "Centipede" type games. I don't want a full-size cabinet at this time. This seems rather awesome IMO.
Just bought this on sale from Walmart for $100! It makes me sad it only has half the games of the ultimate, but I don't think I need an arcade cabinet at the moment
Anyone know what i can get to play donkey kong and super mario bros? I dont care for arcade games and the wii isn't sold anymore. Havent played in years. Thanks in advance
Hey bro, new subscriber and pretty much new to the whole home arcade experience. Like yourself I love classic arcade games and now that I have a son old enough to enjoy them with, I’m looking into purchasing one for the Xmas holiday coming up. My problem- I have zero clue about any of this stuff. Wether it be this setup, or pandora, or Xarcade, or a Raspberry? All the way to even even what Steam is and how I would access it. I own an original NoFear Pinball machine (that I put a ton of time and work into), a PS4, and soon the PS5. That’s it. My question- Do you happen to have a video/could you make a video, for the complete noobs such as myself? My idea so far is to build a custom podium style cabinet and connect the device to a 65inch Plasma hanging in my game room. This way I can decorate it how I choose, and can also move the podium/stand when not in use. Plz plz plz, I need help. There is just soooo much information out there and I’m not even sure where to start. Appreciate your time and hope to hear back/see a video about it in the future. Shane K
Hi thank you for your video. Just bought this gamer pro from GS for 99 bucks. Great deal. Thank you. Also, a quick question for you. May I ask if you have a video on how to program this gamer pro's buttons? My buttons are all mix up when I play SF and other fighting games. Not sure where or how to correct the button issue. Thank you in advance.
great review, could you test gauntlet 4 player and post your feedback here? wondering if you can get the analog sticks to work with the gamepad for the extra players, thanks!
Hi Mad What USB hub are you using. Does it have to be USB 3.0. Your help would be much appreciated. Great channel and content dude, keep up the good work. 👍🏻😀👍🏻
Hi, I picked one of these up at Sam's Club and it was missing a couple items. The USB charger and cable. What is the proper way to charge the battery in the Arcade stick? Through the USB port or the 12VDC adaptor? @Atgames has been no help.
I love my legends ultimate, but I don't think this is for me. I feel like at $250 you can grab a pi with 1-2 hori fight sticks for the same experience.
I have the ALU, but have just come into an hand-me-down 46" monitor, and now, I'm thinking about the Legends gamer Pro to run on it. Only thing is, I want ConopsX, or OneSauce on this system. I'm just afraid the one I order will come with the latest version of the firmware, that killed Coinops, and Sause. I'm not happy about the games, list on this thing. Also not happy to hear it has a less powerful CPU than the ALU. I looked at Pandora boxes, but those haven't either trackballs, nor spinners. Really in a bit of a sticky wicket on this one. LOL If I can find out if what I might order has the firmware predating the Coinops killer, I'll have to lock out the wi-fi, and never connect to the web. EVER! LOL ;) Thanks for the video.
A couple of questions. How does the emulation compare to the Super Retro Cade, what version Mame Roms does this thing use, and can you add Mame cheats?
Me as well, I had almost this exact idea and then started seeing the possibility with Rpi and other mini computers so is cool to see the company bringing it to their product line.. as long as theres ease of importing nodding etc, could be pretty convenient vs building own panel (with lacking building skills lol)
though i'm still intrigued by this as a product, i'm kinda wanting something i can hook into a pc with launchbox setup. Really want i want is a bluetooth arcade controller encoder so i can make a similar kind of device that has wireless connection. but this still may be a good (and certainly easier) way to get into arcade fun!
Im getting this. Ive had a pandoras box chinese clone, the controls were awful. Spent another $100 bucks to upgrade the sticks and buttons, but the UI was garbage. My apt is small, and this will suit me perfectly as opposed to a big cabinet. I was sold at bluetooth connectivity.
Etsy has a ton of sellers offering USB sticks with the Roms loaded on them. You can of course do this yourself but the 50-60 bucks is worth it to have 1200+ games
You can plug the included USB cable into the stick and into the core unit and charge it while playing it paired via bluetooth or you can put it into wired mode where its just powered by the usb cable and runs wired instead of through bluetooth.
So I'm a bit late but I'm very interested in this, and was wondering about the whole a bit More underpowered compared to the just straight up arcade version. Like would this still be able to play coin opx light gun games and such? (especially since I hear they're releasing their own light gun and such)
Sure, just depends on the game. Don't expect House of the Dead, but things like the old Jurassic Park light gun game and others of similar style do work.
I like this console as unlike the majority of all other company's offers the vertical screen option. The pinball games really benefit from that vertical screen option, especially for pinball but also the majority of retro arcade games! I only wish I knew whether one could play games like "Smash TV" with a teammate thru online connectivity even if they are far away. If that is possible to play Mortal Kombat or SF2 against an online opponent at ay time of any day 24/7 365 I'm buying it ASAP! Can anyone please tell me if that's possible? Great video MLP!!!! Peace!
bought a pandora box wifi but would've got this one for the better options as the pandora doesn't let you add your own games (currently 11/2020) nor support vertical monitors/tvs. PLUS it has a spinner, oh and it's on sale at sam's....damn, gf is gonna be pissed because after your video, i'm going to go ahead and get it lol
Wow, this went on sale for $99? I missed the boat on that. Back up to $250, bummer! Any way to run emulators on this thing? Would love to play some SNES and 2600.
Oh yeah on any of the AtGames Legends products including this you can run emulators for tons of retro consoles and arcade stuff. Ive done videos on adding games to these things. Pretty simple.
Will it still play the CoinOps X usb's that we all have made ? I was gonna order tomorrow so if ANYONE can answer this question , that would be GREATLY appreciated !!! Thanks Retro Warriors.
The intro cracked me up! The guy in the middle taking a dump! Haha! It’s like everyone is celebrating his very momentous turd. I also appreciate taking the time to set up the prop hand. It’s all about the small details!
Dragons Lair can be played via the Daphne Emulator on cheap hardware like the Raspberry Pi 3 or 4. This controller and many other USB arcade sticks or panels can be used with the Pi to play those games. Just one idea throwing out there.
Yes. I have all 3 and they run perfectly. MK3 has a weird audio bug where you have to go in the game menu and turn it up, but other than they run great.
That was being streamed from the Sega Genesis Collection off of Steam via wifi. The games plays perfectly fine, but streaming games from your PC its highly recommended to use a wired connection for the best experience.
My GF and I found this at a Sam's Club for $150 and bought it as a gift for everyone (for Easter if you're wondering) and when I see "at games" I got worried. Don't have a great history with them.

Wonder how arduous to swap the buttons or sticks?
Ooooo could plug this to a virtual pinball box ....
Could use with launchbox on a pc?
So is there a difference between the Sam one linked as it says SE version then the ones bought elsewere ?
AtGames is killing it with this and the updated Legends Ultimate cab.
On sale at walmart right now for $99. GOt me one!

What monitor are you using there? I.e. The vertical pinball
Can this be used as a stand alone controller on other devices? Will it work with an Xbox series x, ps4, switch etc?
This is looking better than those new plug and play arcade1up hdmi system's
Whats is the latest system it can handle ps1 dreamcast GameCube etc
Nice review. I just ordered one to build a Polycade style arcade with it and an old 32" tv I have in the attic.

Got one based on this detailed, informative review. Thank you!
Got one yesterday on sale at Sam's Club for 179, I didn't get to try yet but maybe later tonight, Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
Dead Cells on an Arcade stick...that would be a badass way to play it
What is the coin up option? Is it free? How do you add games?
There is a good chance ill buy one of these. Looks like a good alternative to getting an arcade cab.
I agree. So long as it's easy to add games. I like the spin ball for "Centipede" type games. I don't want a full-size cabinet at this time. This seems rather awesome IMO.

Easily add a bunch of games using addonx/coin opsx
I just got it too lol
Same Here!

Is there any way you could play SegaSonic the hedgehog arcade on this using the trackball? 7:57 isn’t that poppy from league of legends? What
Need to know if this will connect with Switch and allow for Flipper buttons for my Atgames Legends Pinball. FX3
What did you use to play sonic 2. I liked how it showed the games and the genesis with the cart being plugged in. Never seen that before.
Saw this on another channel, was waiting for you to review it. This is pretty sweet, I was looking at a pandora box one too.

Email them to send you the replacements. Or return it to Sam's. My guess is that you should charge it with the USB.
can this be plugged as an external controller on pc? i might plop it inside my mame cabinet

How it run on the Atgames ultimate legend Arcade if you swap out control panels?
Is there a game list for this? because this is looking awesome..
Might be worth a purchase down the road, great review!!
A couple of questions. How does the emulation compare to the Super Retro Cade, what version Mame Roms does this thing use, and can you add Mame cheats?
Can the ROms we play with MAME and the "dark side" roms be played on it ? From the unit or run from the computer ?
Atgames, releasing something worth your time. Woah.
Is their a 1 player control panel version of this?
