Ive been playing the game for a couple days now and the first things I noticed was how limited the gameplay was compared to the other tiger games; also the lack of stableford and best ball etc.. Why did they leave those out? Those were awesome. SOOOOOOOOOOOOO disappointed. Can the DLCs help the game? I hope so.

If they included more golfers and courses, I would have have considered buying it, but I didn't feel like spending $60 for a sub-par game and then have to spend additional money on DLC later on. I suppose it's an okay start on next-gen but I'm already looking towards next year.

Picked up tiger woods 14 for 360 and kinect and loving it. Rory McLiroy pga tour was $50 like what in the world. It is clearly and undeniably the best looking golf game. The golf club doesn't even come close, but thats it. If it weren't for the awful camera angles of tiger woods 14 I would say it is easily the best golf game.
I haven't found anything online yet to answer my question about this game so I'm hoping maybe you gentlemen can. Anyways, I purchased the game yesterday and I want to know now after I played it, does this game have a mode like in tiger woods where you can just practice on a course and play all 18 holes to level up your golfer cause I haven't seen it yet, all I see is pro career and the only thing I can do to level up my golfer is to play in tournaments.

I bought it for $5 off the PSN store a month ago. Not a great game, but for $5 it's worth it for the general fun of playing a round of golf every now and then.
I tried this game as it was on sale for a couple of quid on PSN. Guess for that it is worth it. I played a lot against my borhter but there are just no players to play with and not enough courses. So we know them all by now. Haven't really started in a career yet.

I was super pumped for this game but it simply misses the mark so many things missing and the player models look dumb. Power,spin and zoom in are all gone, classic EA to remove proper features that make sense and replace them with nothing. This release reminds me alot of NHL 15 just lack luster and terrible. It's like no one play tests these games. Just go and buy TW14 it is a way better buy.

Here's a tip guys, the EA access for 30$ a year gets you access to trials for most of EA's releases, for example this game gets a 10 hour trial, and the time stops when you stop playing, so 10hours of actual game play times, currently they have all the 2015 sports games for download without trial for free (30$ a year), so if you are interested in ea sports games then EA Access is the way to go on Xbox one. I played this game for about 5 hours and that's all I need from it, il never play it again. Ea access is a great deal, don't know why it gets so much hate, they also said they will never remove a game from the ea access vault, so the list of playable games will only just grow. Oh yeah, this game kinda sucks lol, not worth full price, just pay 5$ for 1 month of ea access and play it for 10 hours, instead of eating money, you also can get achievements in the ea access trials, just remember to exit the game if your console goes into standby.
Well there's a big surprise. EA lost their way about a decade ago. I used to buy Madden and PGA Tour every year until 2008. They had awesome games before then, but they lost track of what made their games so great. I think 2005 PGA Tour was the last truly great golfing game they ever made. 2006 was horrible. I am still haunted by the voice you could make for your golfer. "YEEAAAHHHH!!!" "Be the number, BE THE NUMBER!!!" lol. 2008 I remember you couldn't even max out your golfers stats anymore by earning it with gameplay, they made you pay for DLC content to do that. I was done at that point. I think they just got greedy and lost their way. Can't think of a single good title they've come out with in 8 or 9 years.
The last EA game I really liked was madden 09 but I kinda like this game but they may be cuz it's the only one I've ever played hopefully in the next one they can put those modes back in and still have the game look really nice

The character custumization seems like it was made in 1995. Every option except default looks terrible and wierd. Same with the hairstyles....only default looks decent.
Very dissapointed after playing the tiger franchise for 10 years. No augusta or pebble beach is a joke along with a lot more courses missing. Career mode is too short with a lot of tournaments missing most notably the masters. Not near enough golfers. Creating your player is garbage you cant even give your pro a beard.and no side games like legends of golf in tw 14 and going through tigers career in tw 13. Night mode gets boring after bout half an hour.
Seems like they rushed the game. Career mode sucks, where's the match play foursomes, skins etc. and where's the courses gone surely they should have every course that is played on tour. If I was the pga tour I'd be embarrassed to be associated with this kind of product
Carl Highfield I'd definitely recommend PGA Tour 2005, just such a cozy game with such genius game design as a whole really. Just a bit to easy perhaps. Even when I have a depression the game is still enjoyable and actually makes me feel something for once, last time any game made me do that was Resident Evil 4.
This game is a downgrade with functionality! Its a basic game with nothing new!! Once you play the battlefield map once great whats next $60 US & $100 aus is just absoulute sham for the money & cant wait for the DLC which will cost extra..... Good old EA sports not improving at all....
This for me is the most disappointing game in years. I joined EA access to play this game early and it is terrible. This game took 2 years to make too. The graphics are poor and glitchy and the game is tiny. They should have took Tiger 2014 updated the graphics and added more stuff like golfers and courses, but they did pretty much the opposite. I can't believe they score this game so highly it is very poor, don't buy it.

A good career mode. An in depth career mode has been a very basic part of sports games for some time now. 5.5 is too high IMO
I like the PLAY NOW gameplay as much as any EA PGA tour since the game began. But the rest of the game needs some work.
