    I think KD just fell victim to the east coast media who hated him for being on the Warriors. You will notice when the teams like the Nets, Boston, or Miami assemble mega talent not a peep from the media. They love it. If he had stayed on the Warriors the dynasty would have continued the last couple years. The media used the narrative "he has to win it by himself..." The media tried it again last year with Steph, but Steph laughed it off. Huge mistake by KD.

    My opinion is that KD got everything he wanted from GSW and then moved on for a new challenge. He got all the silicon valley connects, two rings, two trophies, a ton of money. He got to experience basketball at its purest form. He read the tea leaves and they said it was time to go. As fans we obviously never know what goes on behind the scenes. In KD's own words, after he won a title, it was anticlimtic for him. He is also a Northeast guy. If he went somewhere like Houston or Portland I would wonder. He is close to home and possibly wanted HIS own home, close to home. So many think he is too sensitive. He says he enjoys engaging the fans. Talking heads think something is wrong because he doesn't do it like they want him to do it. Somehow people believe he is wrong for enjoying himself and / or don't believe he is telling the truth. Unlimited cash, does what he wants for a living, likes to tweet, plays video games, can retire whenever he feels like it and likes to puff. What is wrong this guy!!! Hahaha. I don't think titles drive him. I think he is in search of the highest form of basketball. And he is probably laughing because he didn't get any calls against Boston either.

      Thank you sir. Bob Myers absolutely disrespected him during their championship parade in 2018. Saying this is Stephs house and that he would get the max before Durant because he's been here longer or something along those lines. Basically disregarding everything KD did for them. Then Donkey Draymond yelling in his face calling him a bitch, saying he's not all in on the team, and that they don't need him. Draymond thought he could control KD and that KD wouldn't leave them because it was perfect in Golden State. Well it was perfect for everyone else but him. From the moment he got there he was put under heavy scrutiny and called weak, soft, etc. He then averages 35 on Lebrons head and gets 0 credit. Then the very next year he wins FMVP again vs Lebron and gets disrespected by the GM or the owner, whatever that guy is, at the parade. Then draymond cussed him out and disrespects him. Then he gets lied to by the warriors medical staff, and everyone including his teammates pressure him into coming back for game 5. Then he ruptures his Achilles and raptors fans cheer. I would be absolutely DONE with that team if I was KD. They had 0 respect for him 🤦🏽‍♂️

    • @ph_hacker_d
      @ph_hacker_d 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      The way he did both is why people bring it up.
      He joined the warriors after they beat him and the Thunder in the western conference finals… AND the thunder were up 3-1 in that series before choking. To me that’s soft… joining the team that beat your team. If he stayed with thunder it’s possible they could have beat warriors in the next year.
      Then he goes to warriors, they win 2 titles, and he LEAVES them after he got his rings. So no real allegiance to his teammates and team. Lastly, he went to the Nets under the assumption that with him Kyrie and Harden, they could win more rings “easily”.
      So all the moves just seem soft from an outside perspective. Now, I think it’s good for players to control their own destiny and do what they want. But that doesn’t mean that as fans people have to agree with the moves that players make.
      Also, I’m not a KD hater/warriors fan. Just saying what I think.

    I agree 💯
    Folks like to talk about what Kevin did for the Warriors.
    Look at what the Warriors did for him. He literally played his best basketball there under that system and structure. Also Draymond some of his antics were over the top but I do think Draymond understood how to get the most out of Kevin and which buttons to push.

    Kevin was trying to just play basketball but one of his teammates turned the ball over instead of giving Kevin the ball to go play basketball. When Kevin tried to tell that teammate to just let Kevin play basketball that teammate called him a bitch.
