Pitifully, Americans have been raised, generation after generation to believe that they NEED guns to live safely. This is a false message. No other democratic country has imprinted this on the minds of generations of their population. I live in a country with extremely stringent gun ownership laws. I have felt safe in my country for my whole life. My parents felt safe for their entire lives - until they died naturally in their 90's. My grandchildren feel safe going to school and their playgrounds. America is a tragically unsafe country. I will not longer travel there. I am heartbroken for your innocents.

Great speech but I wish they would use these same talking points to address the military-grade technologies being used to rape people, including children. Just talk about the underlying issue to all of this - the lack of trust in democracy, lack of national security, the war in Ukraine. I'm sick of getting raped everyday, of having my brain dehydrated, suffocating most of the day, not being able to get an entry-level job with a bachelor's degree, homeless, not being able to talk to any of my friends unless I say I'll be a woman? Or that I'm crazy? While politicians get as close to the issue as they can without actually talking about it. It is possible to talk about it. It really is.
