They're a blast, you honestly never know what's around the corner and it forces you to improvise constantly. For example when I did mine, it spawned one of those flame tanks in the narrow hallways that lets you go in deeper into Volcano manner. I couldn't get past it and the tank would always face me so my damage was non-existent. It was then I remembered that one of the merchants was selling Radhan's bow. So I bought it and used the Rain of arrow's ash of war on the tank knowing it's top had no damage mitigation. Low and behold, my plan worked and I killed the tank, allowing me to progress further. Randomizer runs are full of moments like that. Definitely recommend running one if you have the chance to.
