- Priscilla Presley remembers her daughter, Lisa Marie, at a memorial service in Memphis on Jan. 22, 2023.
Lisa Marie Presley was 54 when she died January 12, after being hospitalized for a medical emergency.
Lisa Marie Presley will be buried next to her son, Benjamin Keough, who died in 2020. Other members of the Presley family, including Elvis, are also buried at Graceland.

How she made it through reading this beautiful poem is beyond me. It speaks to the character and fortitude of a beautiful mother and grandmother who will carry on in her daughter's physical absence...guiding her loved ones on the right path. Prayers for this family in gratitude for all that you have given us over the decades.
I couldn't have. I wrote a poem for a friend who died of cancer in 2017 and I gave it to the funeral celebrant to read, because my voice would have cracked reading out loud.

I cried and cried as her mom spoke. It was a beautiful message from her daughter, I think Riley wrote that speech. It was everything, the poem made me cry. Rest in Peace Lisa Marie! I pray for your children and your mother. OMG I know how Priscilla feels today. My son died by suicide, I know how Lisa Marie felt too. It is hard when you are here and your child is gone! This was such a beautiful service. My heart breaks for all of them. Lisa was born into a kind of fame and lifestyle that can either sustain you or break you. It broke her father and it broke her. It's a sad but all too common tale that we have all seen played out way too many times before. Some people shine too bright for this world and have to move on to the next long before they ever should. I like to think they are all together now, Lisa, her Daddy, her son and her grandparents all sitting around a piano singing gospel. And smiling down on all of us. ✨🕊️

A complete tragedy for Priscilla and Lisa Marie's children, relatives, and those who were close to her, but now Lisa Marie can be at peace in the loving arms of her dad and son Benjamin once again. As a grieving mother myself to my only 17 year old son and 3 surviving daughters, I firmly believe Lisa Marie died of a broken heart. Lisa was in her darkest days as a grieving Angel Mom. End of story!

I got so emotional when I saw Priscilla and Jerry during the memorial. . It took me back. It was heartbreaking To see the pain but beautiful to see how much love her children and her mom had and still have for Lisa.. It reminded me of seeing my mom's pain when she went thru losing my sister. I did not expect to get that emotional but it hit me like mack truck. God please give them the comfort and peace and love they need at this time. You all are in my prayers.
A mother should never bury a child. So very sorry, Priscilla. I was hoping to see Lisa grow old, as I am, and how much more she would accomplish in her life. It was cut short. God had another plan for you to be with your son and father. He saw you hurting beyond belief and took you home. A joyous meeting once again with only tears of laughter and not sorrow. The fact of a few of the guest who spoke and gave condolences to the family failed to mention her own Brother ( half brother) Navarone who is seated and present; made me feel sorrow for him. Just because he isn't a Presley does not justify those folks who failed to mention him as a family member when they gave condolences to Priscilla, Riley, Harper and Finley. He has a major loss too.
And yes, I know Priscilla mentioned him. I expected nothing less of her.
Lisa and Navarone were not close. Right after her son's suicide he went on instagram live and blamed his death on Lisa. After Lisa's death he was on instagram again and said some not very nice things again about Lisa.

They say Priscilla has always been strong. Today she showed that by being the one who got up there to say what her eldest grandchild couldn't speak out loud herself. I'm glad she got through it.

I’m sobbing so hard! I lost my mom at a relatively young age, and not one day passes by without remembering and dreaming of her. Yet I can’t imagine the enormous pain mothers that lose a child (or children) endure. I’m lost for words. We love you, Riley, Harper, Finley, and Priscilla!

Lisa Marie Presley came into a world who welcomed her here. She was much loved by Elvis Presley and her mom Pricilla Presley. Now they say goodbye to her today. She will be missed by her remaining family and friends who loved her. Also by strangers who loved her music.
