"Feminine rage" is definitely the right term for this one!
Your voice is so versatile. Great job with this one. You definitely communicated the emotion here. ❤️
Yeah, she’s a sexist, so there’s that.
Toxic Feminity .
@@M3ganwillslay I don't think you understand that word, buddy.
@@M3ganwillslay I don't think I should tell that information to a stranger on the internet. Much less since it has nothing to do with the topic.
@@M3ganwillslay Ah, so because people are changing in favour of shitty social norms changing, it's suddenly a problem?
No offense, but that's how it works. When women put forth the idea that they too should be able to vote, other women reacted exactly like you do now. Should they have stopped the movement then?
Feminine rage is a real concept that you should look into, it's very interesting. To summerize, it deals with the lack of representation of feminine rage in media, most often only depicting how a woman's trauma affects the man in focus. This translates to our social mentality, where women who do talk about injustice or things that upset them, they are judged far worse than men who do the same thing. Titled as whiny and nagging.
Toxic femininity is the female equivalent of toxic masculinity, which is enforcing feminine stereotypes despite how much it hurts the individual.
Why did you respect the women of your time? Because they didn't acknowledge the societal structures that have existed in history to keep women below men? Or because they supported it in favour of keeping "traditional values"?
Ma'am, your age doesn't give you immediate "I am right" points. Age doesn't immediately mean you know it all or are an expert on a topic. For example, I got a grandmother that rather blames a 16 year old from a sexually abusive family for getting pregnant, rather than my 30 year old uncle who knocked her up (this is also a very good example of toxic femininity).
We need full cover as soon as the original song is out
This isn’t her own creation? Too bad, it sounds like her.
I’m married now for almost 35 years and my wife is both my best friend and my partner. She’s six years older and I try very hard to take care of her and put her first in our relationship.
@@ExSoldier762 You both are blessed. Mine thought wedding vows = ownership starting on the honeymoon. It was not good. I know there are good men. I'm not a man basher. Unfortunately this song is true for so many women.
@birdfig Thank you. I'm grateful I've healed, forgiven and moved on. I'm in a good place 😊
I hope not. Really I hope not. But these are times of Babylon. This time we have the Victory in Him. At least I hope 🙏 i hope.
That's the whole point of this song. The background is screaming their lungs out, but the main singer is calm and composed. A gentle way to protest. Women are maintaining the civilized mentality.
Looks meaningless.
@@rezakhani3949well if i have a low iq like you I would think the same
It’s sad because the so called feminist are the ones fighting to let men dressed up like women take away opportunities that good women deserve.
@@rezakhani3949 I'm sure it would, to someone without the ability to self-reflect.
@@rezakhani3949it is literally about abusive husband's. Not men in general.
As a man, I wish to encourage feminist rage and not deny its righteous fury.
Right there with you brother.

Same dude. I love this song because it reminds me of my mother and sisters. My dad made my mom do everything around the house. Even when he had days off or was unemployed, he'd lounge around all day while making her do it all because it was a "woman's job." he also made my sister's do all the chores and tried to discourage me from helping them, because once again, he thought it was a woman's job and wanted them to learn how to be housewives early on. Didn't stop me from helping them because, unlike him, I'm not a lazy bastard, and I actually want to contribute to my family.
@@noway377this made me tear up. I always come across men online who I have to explain basic human decency to. Thanks for this. It gives me hope I’ll run into a nice one like you 😊

Succinct.
You cannot convince me that this song isn't a spell the amount of ancestral rage this projects and the amount of raw energy it holds is immaculate
Edit thanks for the likes guys 🫶
Honestly, I’m my personal opinion it’s her version that carries that energy.
The original sounds lethargic to me. Which is absolutely fitting for the lyrics if you take a POV of someone who gave up but I feel like their is so much lost potential compared to Malindas version.
Hello 🤗...my reason for my faith in Jesus and the Bible is mainly due to Bible prophecy.
This video on TH-cam might help you just look up
Mike winger prophecies that Jesus fulfilled evidence for the Bible pt10 🙂.
It's quite long but even if you only watch a little bit it's worth it. He's a great teacher
The penalty for sin is death but Jesus (God with us) lived a sinlesss life and died a sinners death in our place then rose to save us. We just have to believe and repent meaning turn rom our sins.
God loves you and died for you. God bless thanks for reading
Jesus is the only way because Christianity is the only religion who believes that their sins have been paid for by someone perfect who can pay for them. That way there's only one way.
LOL so you've never hear Tori Amos' music, huh?
@@Lesatur to me the original sounds haunting, not lethargic. A slow-burning spell casting by Paris Paloma, indeed.

It is your choice of you want to become resentful when you're 40 or not. And resentment is when things have not been said that should have. Of your mother was resentful to little things SHE let it get to that point. Father is just as much as responsible. But let's not use this song as the lesson, the lesson is, just dont do something you dont want to do, but remember you WILL sacrifice something. So let that sacrifice in your life be for the good.
@@Tiger-vv5vm the point is that women are expected to sacrifice so much because they’re conditioned to view marriage that way
Same. And still my generation it's the same. I'm still waiting to find the man who would want to share in the labour and not think that his job is the only labor he needs to do.
May no man make a wonderful woman feel this way. For a woman has brought forth that man.
Your voice, passion and wisdom is sang so beautifully through this and all your songs. Your truly beautiful and unique soul that is very much alive and well loved ❤
That feels like an ancient curse. I love it
Unfortunately many men do and this is the reality for many women especially in developing countries like India. The worst part is when men abuse or cheat on their women in spite of all the sacrifices they made for them 💔
It’s extremely ironic that men feel they can “own” women despite them coming from a woman.
@@maveryriley Most of the men I know that want children and the "white picket fence dream" are hard working men who care for their woman, who do ask that they take care of the house and children while they work a 60+ hour week to provide for the same.
@@kucimiao ik girll, i feel ya
And anyone who thinks they are entitled to just put their feet up and let their partner do all the house work without even having a conversation about it without presumptions or conditions deserves, not only every ounce of that rage, but also deserves to be abandoned as the parasite they behave as.
Especially if the entitlement stems from sexism and misoginy, there is a moral responsibility to break cycles of inherited bigotry of every kind, and there are no valid excuses for neglecting to try.
If the man is obligated to do fifty percent of the housework, does that mean the woman has an equal obligation to do fifty percent of the breadwinning? If you answered no to that question, then maybe you have a moral responsibility to break your own cycles of inherited bigotry.
@@kylemacdougall8355 the exact split will never be 50/50home-50/50pay, it has to be up to the people in the relationship to figure out and arrange both kinds of labour between them in a way that works fairly for them and to rearrange it when circumstances in the relationship changes.
The important parts are to not presume anything and to treat eachother with the implicit trust and honesty that shows the love we claim to have for our partners in what and how we do things and communicate with eachother.
On top of that, high paying jobs aren't always more labour intensive.
While Malindas song specifically is about overworked women, note that my OC is not gendered at all.
@@SonsOfLorgar That's exactly my point. Splitting things 50/50 is often not possible or desirable. Therefore, the man in the relationship is not automatically guilty of something if he happens to be doing less than 50 percent of the housework. For instance, if the man works 55 hours a week and the woman doesn't work at all, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect her to do 100 percent of the housework. Cooking and cleaning doesn't require as many hours per week as a full-time job does.
@@kylemacdougall8355 damn, so close to reality but still stuck... thats sucks.
@@maryarney1350 In other words, you don't have any actual points to make. Only personal attacks.
He abused me.
He abused my young daughter.
None of us are safe.
The full version of this song fills me with feminism rage.
Rage for myself, my daughter, my mum, my nana.... When does it end? When ???
I hope you left
It ends when you take responsibility for, and arm yourself, and when society embraces a culture of punishing abusive behavior in more severe ways.
@@jagd7102 I agree. But we also live in a world where even a false accusation with zero evidence would ruin a man forever (and the same elephant can do it apparently 14 times before anyone getting suspicious), so I tend not to believe the sob stories.
@@rauminen4167 the idea that there's an epidemic of false accusations destroying men's lives is the made up sob story, bro. It's rage bait invented by tabloids to keep you emotional and credulous. Looks like it's working.
the reality is that law enforcement doesn't care about stopping violence and the chances of them believing genuine reports, let alone doing anything about them, is so low that to think they're locking people up at the slightest hint of a false report is absolutely deranged and totally disconnected from any evidence.
you mean you,re not safe with black men ?
This was my life with my ex husband. When I said I was done having babies, he told me he never loved me and only tolerated me so he could have children and so I kicked him out. I literally willingly lived like that out of what I thought was an act of love for that man... including intimacy I didn't want. Now I teach my kids better about what love is and what love is not.
LOL, if you have the power to "kick him out" he has never had any control over the relationship, now, did he? You're just lying to try to look good. Saddest thing is the kids are going to pay for it.
@@rauminen4167 You're in this song and you don't like it. Womp womp
@@LuxNovuz Nah. I'm out scot-free. So how did he have any control if she could just kick him out at any point?
@@rauminen4167she was manipulated and gaslit into staying with him. There's a saying that goes "it takes 7 tries to end an abusive relationship"
@@_.-Skitterbug-._ That sounds like taking zero accountability for her actions, just listen to her phrasing "and so I kicked him out" she was in control all along.
The octave up part kind of sounds like the way a woman’s voice screams when she’s giving birth. In the best way, I swear. Your singing is beautiful and expressive.
I was once "that guy" and lost the love of my life because of it. Sometimes the ones we love the most are the ones we hurt the most, and we don't realize that fact until it's staring us dead in the face and showing us the door. Fellas, change is hard but it can be done. It's never too late to be a better person. Not just for the one you love, but for yourself.
Thank you for changing! I hope you will have another chance at love and that you 2 can make it work. You just need to have some compassion for each other and make an effort to see the other persons point of view and find compromises. Good luck! 🍀
I’m glad you saw your flaws as they were and took accountability. That takes courage and a willingness to be honest to yourself.
You just need to find a woman who values you as much as you value her. There are women out there who value the work men do and feel privileged to have a man who will provide for her and the children and she in turn is happy to take care of her husband, home and children. Not all women are angry, brainwashed feminists, who have never in their life experienced true oppression, as portrayed in this song.
@@kimberlyjean2248 *No*. Only 30% of women nowadays stay at home. For a multitude of reasons from simply not being able to, to not wanting to run the risk of financial abuse to the simple fact men are, quite literally, demanding women work and pay bills.
This song? It's about those women who work, and care for the kids, and cook, and clean, and clean up mens messes, and act as his therapist, and nurse, and maid, and prostitute and I could go on and on.
Truth is that this above, women doing at all? There has been research in countless western countries that show that that is the painful reality for the vast majority of women in couples. Working women who still do everything while their man, who does NOT provide, pays only half the bills, comes home and puts his feet up.
@@kimberlyjean2248 Providing for a household, especially one with children, with a single income unfortunately isn't realistic anymore for the vast majority of people in today's economy. Meaning that even if you found a woman who's happy to do all the housework for you as long as you make all the money (and those women definitely do exist), you might not be able to make that dream a reality. Which definitely does suck, but it also means you need to adapt and not just stick to the "woman do all the housework" concept when you both work full-time jobs.
By the way, feminism does not mean that no women should be housewives anymore. Feminism just means that all women should have a choice, and be a housewife or a career woman or anything in between based on what they prefer, instead of being forced into one specific role based on their gender.
The nightmares our ancesters gone through...😔 Thank to everyone that made a step to where women are today. Still a way to go but better than before
And that's why all my friends are divorced. They did everything and their husbands did the bare minimum. Female rage is real.

My mom comes to mind... 😢
Can someone explain me this part exactly. Like I understand the context of the song perfectly but unfortunately English isn't native tongue.
It's not an act of love if you make her?
Make her what? Like is she talking about how the patriarchal man is making her do the slave labory in the name of love?
Or like do they mean copulation, where, act of love, where the man makes the woman do it, against her will. SA that is

Sounds like me before I was in a tornado and became disabled with chronic pain and then my lazy, abusive, narcissistic husband left me all because he had to make dinner a couple of times. He was also cheating on me but he used my being disabled as his excuse for leaving. Hes now married to the homewrecker. I hope she leaves him exactly like she did her other 2 or 3 husbands for the next one. One cheater deserves another cheater. I was a married single mother of 2. I guess the vows we took only meant something to one of us because he broke them all.

Omg the toxic men in the comment section are hilarious 💀
They want to be oppressed so bad 😂
Um the crap men go through isn’t as bad but it still sucks women aren’t called weak for feeling emotions, they are shamed for liking things that are deemed feminine but women can like tattoos and bikes but men can’t like gardening or knitting funny how when women are involved with emotions it’s “ you got this “ but when it’s a man he’s told to “ man up “ and “ don’t be a wimp” it’s sad the double standards society makes isn’t it?😁
Also men kill themselves more than women and the statistics don’t lie there nice try honey

"Feminine rage"... Right. Let me give you something to be mad about.
Because, what sounds better? To be a house wife affirming countless millennia societal gender roles, that gives life and sustains life through ALL it's stages.
Or being an "strong" and "independent" woman/a disposable, burnt out, corporate wage-slave, and second-rate male; that if you'd die today your "career" would replace you tomorrow without batting an eye...
Just saying, I have personally witnessed these things happen over and over. There's no "wisdom" in it. Just ruined and depressed legions of women turning 35+ and realizing how terribly they've been screwed over by society.
