The one thing that kinda took me out of the movie, and i did really like the movie, was Ajax. Just because you can't feel pain doesn't mean that muscle is still gonna work when someone jabs a sword through it.
He bent the pole here pretty easily, so it's likely that he also had some physical enhancement - I've always thought he had a weaker form of Wade's regeneration.

The thing with the rebar, for anyone who is wondering, is a guy in real life of his physique COULD probably bend rebar with their bare hands like that, it's just your body has natural limiters on how much raw power you can get out of your muscles, so that you don't cause more damage than you need to. Your muscles naturally tear as you use them, then regrow stronger, but if you used 100% of what your muscles are capable of in one burst you'd probably shred them, but he doesn't feel it, ever. He just probably couldn't use that arm for a lot of shit after the fact.
