  • In past episodes of the podcast, I've discussed the history of the WWE Championship during its run with the Winged Eagle Belt design and Big Eagle/Attitude Belt design. Today, it's time to discuss the belt's 3-run year from 2002 to 2005 with what's been known as the Undisputed Belt design.

This was 100% my favorite design. It was a much more old-school design that wasn't WWE. The World Titles were more like this title for a LONG time before the big gold belt. WWE had a style that was more rounded.

I too was not really a fan of the belt design. But that was until I saw the new United States title design. I say now that it was way better than the new United States title design. My favorite US title design is the one from WCW that was used until they changed the WCW logo. WCW also did the replay thing a few times. For instance The Living Legend Larry won with Anderson's help but the Powers At Be ( Vince Russo) went nu-uh and showed the replay and the decision was reversed and Larry because he lost had to leave. Also there were rumors that Eddie would have a possible title run or something but sadly obviously that never came to fruition.
