Texas looks solid. Defense mentality and everyone can shoot the 3. Going to be a big year for Texas. Deep tournament run I can feel it at lease elite 8.

I would like to say, when I searched for the highlights for this game. I was way to into the game. Till I realized I was watching last year’s highlights. Day and night on those highlights! Lol
Texas will be hard to beat , they perfect mix of experience in the front and back court with young talent and length.
We were so dominant last night this game gave me so much hope and makes excited for what we could possibly accomplish this season

It’s been awhile since Texas has had a team this good. A lot of okay teams but this team looks as good or probably better then the Elite 8 team with Lamarcus Aldridge.

This is potentially a Sweet 16 matchup in the Tourney this year. The Zags have improved vastly since then, but man, Texas looks really solid.
Texas is a solid team and my pick to win the Big 12. They can do it all; defense, outside shoot, in the paint and fast break. Conference play will tell us more about the Longhorns, but I'm liking what I'm seeing so far.
Zags got punched in the mouth. I've noticed the formula to beat them the last few years is to swarm on the helpside and swipe at the ball. Their big men keep the ball too low, and their guards have a hard time breaking pressure. Keep fouling them and keep them out of their offense and keep shooting threes on them, even if they aren't going in. Texas was favored in this gae for a reason. Plenty of season left though. Zags play Kentucky this week, PK85 next week, Alabama and Baylor early December. Still plenty of opportunities to get right but they look disorganized at times. That's something I haven't seen from a Few coached team in a longtime.

Zags do their Harry Houdini act again. Playing these power conferences is not fruitful. Texas is really good to say the least. The Zags are the dodgers of college basketball. Mark Few needs to go to a power conference an see how he stacks up.
Great coaching, but he never gets them dogs on his team that would put em over the edge. Limited in recruiting when you in Spokane Washington. Ain't nobody tryna go there like that and I'm from Washington. There's nothing out there. Hahah

Followed the zags over 25 years and this is going to be a tough season. Thats what happens when you recruit at a higher level and the pieces don't fit. They have no point guard this year! strwther is soft. Hickman isn't ready to play point guard at a high level like Nembhard did last year. Sallis can only play D and no offense. Smith and Bolton are going to have to force their game all year B/c they have no point guard. Every team is going to double and triple team timme. Reid and watson give a fraction up front on offense of say players like Tillie and Petrusev did. With no tommy Lloyd to recruit overseas now they are going to get all stateside players who have athletic talent and little skill. BTW, the way texas shot tonight they would beat every team in the nation. Good game texas!
FRAUDZAGA strikes again. This game proves my longstanding belief that Gonzaga can’t handle the best of the Big 12. They are a better fit for the PAC-12. Also, let’s put some respect on Tyrese Hunter.

agree, but watch, they will go 20 - 0 in their conference, winning each game by 20, while the rest of the country beats itself up, and they will be a number 1 seed in the west, play the first two rounds close to home against weak west coast teams, and almost have to try to not make the sweet sixteen. Then the sweet sixteen game is usually (except for last year the first time) a west coast team that is also overrated and basically have to win one game against a team that is a top 30 team to make the final four. And they still can't win the title and rarely make the final four.
They should have also lost to Michigan State. You hear Francesca talking during the team that "this team needs work and has holes" - ok they are just realizing that now. Then the pollsters, media and the rest have no clue, which is actually the case. I won tons of friendly bets two years ago when I gave a bunch of people Gonzaga and 15 in the final against Baylor.
