I sailed into Hanalei bay 30 years ago what a special place. Rat face surfed with Titus and the boys. Great people, Big hearts. I'm still here. Mahalo Kauai 1:17 ❤

Is there something, I am not a surfer never tried just wondering, a surfer can put on their board so sharks know they are not " a dinner " .?

There are patterns on the bottom of boards that resemble sea snakes which scare the sharks

Hanalei Bay has been surfed since the '60's. Its hardly a "Secret Spot". I rode it '75; 8 foot, 200'+ rides. 3 guys out all day.
