Great product, only problem is I just paid $4000 for the entire car and this is a $600 product! At $200 I would be all over it but $600 plus another $1200 for a decent stereo it's hard to justify.
hi with the aerpro kit will there be a problem with security if transferring and retaining the same bcm from old icc to this icc because of unplugging bcm and plugging back in or will car still start after, also if buying a spare icc for parts except bcm and use yours or buying spare vents and spare central locking module that goes ontop of vents will it cause problems with security if retaining your old bcm from car or will it only be the keyless remotes that need programming. also with steering wheel control harness in the icc can you configure for one brand then just re configure harness for different brand if upgrading to carplay later and plug in and it work or do you got to reset the icc steering wheel control again. want to upgrade to carplay but cant afford to yet and want to get biggest job out way soon as possible and maybe only have to pull out again far enough to get to side screws to swap headunit, plus want to have piano black trims and need to do icc so it all matches. when ready to upgrade to carplay will probably get a kenwood or pioneer but may have access to a secondhand jvc touch screen just to show aircon info until able to afford headunit thanks
Great video as always mate! Super stoked with this kit, i've got it paired with an DMH-Z6350BT, with an aftermarket audio system. Absolute killer combo!
Hey mate, was the moving of the factory ICC plug (Mentioned at 9:25 in video) the only problem with making it fit? And are you happy with that model head unit? I'm looking at installing a similar setup. Thanks
One more question mate. Did you have to transfer the interior temp sensor on to the new Aerpro kit? I did an EDS and the interior temp shows up as being 100+. Wondering if this is because some of the wires weren't connected properly. On the other hand, I'm also thinking that if this was the case, the temp should be displaying should ideally be displaying an error. What's your opinion?
Thanks for sharing mate, this looks like a really great upgrade. Do you know if it is possible to change the interface (remove the dash from the background around the 12:00 minute mark) when using the buttons in the kit? Seems a bit distracting and hard to read.
im doing a full install with front 6.5 inch component speakers 6x9 rear speakers two amps and a subwoofer in my ute lol. aerpro bf double din with an alpine ilx 507a
The factory amp was dead and the customer did not want to spend any more money so it was oleft not working. The kit does have the amp trigger and input for it so it should work fine when you wire in the kit
@@wickswirescaraudioandfabri7730 already picked up the replacement pillars so yeah it’s coming out. Not sure whether it will go into the new one yet. We shall see :) it’s the tow car after all. And, I still need to do the Aurion!
Hey mate awesome video and i just installed one into my sons car. The only drama im having and cant get to work is the on screen menu and AC visuals. Tried everything but cant seem to get it to work.
Thanks mate, you will need to contact whomever installed it. The AC menu is supposed to be run with the reverse camera video input so the facia kit can trigger the screen and allow it to switch over when a button is pressed. If this has not been set up correctly then you will not get the screen come up. Hope that helps mate 🙂
Did you actually watch the video? It's a kit that comes with all harnesses required to do the install as I ran through, and is a plug and play. The link for the kit is actually in the description as well
Mine stopped showing displays for climate control, do you know what menu to put it back on? I can't see how many degrees I am at or fan settings etc.
Christmas in November! Love new vids from you bro! Nice repair too!!
Hahaha thanks mate 🙂 Hopefully by next weekend you will have another 😉
@@wickswirescaraudioandfabri7730 I'll look ok forward to it!

Wow your custom kit looks soooo much better! Im installing the aerpro into my BA Fairlane and wish it looked like your custom setup.
People truly undervalue the cost of custom.
Thats an understatement haha. Definitely agree

Thanks mate glad you enjoyed it!! It is a good fit thats for sure 🙂
Man, would love to see a snippet of what you've done audio-wise to your vehicle

hey mate what is the colour silver you painted the top cover after you repaired it. i need to colour match my pod fascia thanks in advancer did
Can you change the color illumination on the fascia kit?

No problems mate. No as far as I know its a built in image so don't think you can change it
Cheers mate - still heaps better than the factory setup I reckon. :D
Agreed haha 🙂
I have removed at least 10 top covers best way is with butter knife. Never broke one if your careful and slow. As per youtube video.
Do the buttons on the steering wheel work on the new head unit ?
Yes they do 🙂
im doing a full install with front 6.5 inch component speakers 6x9 rear speakers two amps and a subwoofer in my ute lol. aerpro bf double din with an alpine ilx 507a
Nice!
Just wondering, as the reverse camera input is used to display climate control, will the reverse camera still display as well?
Yes it will, the facia kit has the input for the camera and will pass it through to the headunit when reverse is triggered 🙂
how did you get factory sub to work what did you plug into what, is it still worth using a aftermarket amp
The factory amp was dead and the customer did not want to spend any more money so it was oleft not working. The kit does have the amp trigger and input for it so it should work fine when you wire in the kit
My factory amp worked, basically all the kit wiring was plug and play.
How'd you go about connecting the 5th plug on the bcm
1 plug is unused from memory. Or do you mean actually plugging them in?
So we may end up with a territory soon, and the cx-9 will go. May be in touch for one of these guys!
No stress at all 😊 Does that mean pull the system out and rebuild or sell it as is?

Great vid , how do you see the reliability prospects for this kit ? Is their quality ok ?
Yeah at this stage they seem okay, i have used Aerpro info adapters many times (built in interface) and they seem to work well
Exactly the same as every cheap entry level /clone smartphone.
Looks great hope they're working on a FG kit
They are indeed, it's aparently not too far away 😉
Does the unit have a choice in Fascia colours ?
They also have piano black now
Wish they made one for the SZ model!
Soon 😉
Hey Mate.....could you paint that ugly green tool box some other colour? Otherwise......Great vid!
Lucky it's not mine hey 😄 thanks mate haha
Dude loves slamming things on the bench 🤣
I guess it's had the "bench test"...
Terrible video. No info about the type of harness, cables and kits used. How to actually transfer or patch the old wiring to work with the new wiring.
