Just want to share... I used to have a tailor that's just in my neighborhood in the Philippines who did alterations (cutting, resizing, patching, etc.) for me for only 2-3 dollars per item (any clothing) when I was in my 20's and heavily into thrifting. He was flexible and experimental, he never thought my instructions on what to do with my items were weird, and this was during the late 90's. Unfortunately he moved away and is retired now . I've always thought of starting a Round Two combined Gallery Dept. or Re/Done kind of business here way before but never dared...
We all had big ideas that became successful for someone else but the only difference is they went and started it 1st… u gotta get up and go do it my guy
Next year nobody is gonna wear flared jeans. Im not a fan of skinnys but a straight leg jeans, white sneakers and a nice leather jacket is maybe the most timeless outfit there is and its gonna be around for a long time
It’s funny how trends work nowadays l. I remember the flared look was questionable last year. I rocked meet the guys denim all the time and started getting more questions about them compared to last year 🤣
nah old-heads know it as a boot cut jean or a saddleman jean, which existed long before flares. Bell bottoms are like extreme boot cuts. Like Jnco level almost.
Minolta Collector the difference is that bell bottoms were tight in the waist, hips, and upper leg while the bottom is flared while Jncos were worn low slung with an extreme wide leg.
Unbelievable! thanks for the great vids! I didn't know about Gallery Dept BUT I've been doing the SAME SAME to my work pants/army pants and jeans since b4 Covid...complete with rips and paint stains. wow! you and your channel are great!
If your lucky enough to live in the Bay Area, go to San Francisco thrift stores. Found so many vintage flares from the 60s and 70s for guys and ladies in thrift stores. Remember that's were hippies used to live and were Levi's originated so you might be lucky like me and find great stuff.
The zipper patch flared trouser by Harsh and Cruel is essentially a copy of Vujade. They even copied the revised pocket detail on the flared cargos specific to the third drop. Copies on copies on copies.
527 were actually flared. I feel bootcut, like with Tru Religion, isn’t brought up because it shows how pedestrian this trend actually was 10 years ago.
If you no how to sew, tailor, pattern work you know gallery work is very mediocre. Not gonna lie they no what that there doing but it’s nothing special for this price tag
tbh just go with the levis 507 boot cut, got mine from a thrift store for about $20 or get yourself some double knees from amazon and go to your local tailor and explain what you want, I got me some nice double knees with flares for under $40 in the gallery department aesthetic, dont need to spend $200 yall
IStillCan'tBelieveTheSeahawksDidn'tRunTheBall I opened my hems and the stitching on the outside of the legs, where you insert the extra fabric, told her to sew another fabric underneath the pants for a flare. thats pretty much it
Jeanius bar is known for not replying to people after paying and taking way to long to ship and just won’t reply. I’ve also seen people complain the pants they get look nothing like the photos
im tts size M on the waist and have to buy L on the vujade to not fit super super super skinny i couldnt even put my hands on the pockets and they were long af
I bought a pair from jeanus bar atelier and they showed me a pair of flare and bought it in my size but they shipped a different pair with different size. Im trying to reach them out for last 3 days but no response yet.
@Francisco M.R yeah I agree, but back then flare pants are more on the practical side for their boots. If hypebeasts get their hands on this trend, this will not age well 100%
If you want to see how the second alternative you talked about fit just look up ending minds on Instagram. These Flaneur are basically a copy of those... ending minds released in December 19 :)
Find out when some of these items go ON SALE with SHOPTAGR - www.clkmg.com/shoptagr_inc/keezytv
@destroyalldenim on IG trust me
Needy honestly needs to address this shit

My big feet bois finally get to flourish. Wearing a size 13 during a time when everybody was making Skinny jeans was a very dark time in my life.

I just never got into skinny jeans and I’m now realizing it was cuz of that lol
Next year nobody is gonna wear flared jeans. Im not a fan of skinnys but a straight leg jeans, white sneakers and a nice leather jacket is maybe the most timeless outfit there is and its gonna be around for a long time

You call it flared, old heads know they're Bell-bottoms 😆

Can you do more fake vs real comparison vlogs? Those are my favorite videos! Love when you film inside consignments.
Bought some undercover flare denim early last year.
Can't believe its becoming a trend now.
Just buy some Levi 501s, dirt cheap and gets you the look
501s are straight
Did you mean 517's?
@@danielmukhlis5709 no, but that works aswell.

Flared pants look like boot cuts right? I got a shit ton of boot cuts and they look the same over the sneaker
That one pair of True Religions that you posted on the “Name the Rest of the Fit”, looked like a pair of Kapital denim
Undercover has nice flare silhouettes
I literally can't stand flared pants. The only guy I've seen pull them off is Kyron. That nigga be fresh asl
I make those myself
I bought a rep of the vuja de flare pants and they fit me too long and I lack the confidence to wear them out🤧
Where from
In my days we called them bootcut jeans lol
Depends how big the flare is, most bootcut jeans flare at 16 to 20 inches around while actual flares/bell bottoms go from 21 to 26 inches around.
Whos trying to bring back boot cut jeans 🧐
Me
The only store is In LA. They do pops ups tho
you missing out on inhibitionstudios
tbh looking for fire stitched jeans but cant really find them

Deadass
@Yuju Waterbottle yeah. Slim and tapered too. These cuts compliment the body more aesthetically
Ryan Gilbert Sabatin I hope not it looks so good, flared slim or straight pants looks so damn good especially for showing off the shoes
Vuja de has the perfect fit 🔥
I’m 5’7 lmao no they don’t I had to get them tailored a lot people I heard did
Amiri Lorenzo inseams weren’t good for shorter people
Also they’re pretty skinny
im tts size M on the waist and have to buy L on the vujade to not fit super super super skinny i couldnt even put my hands on the pockets and they were long af
Mateo Lopez yeah unless you’re built like Ken they ain’t gonna fit proper without work
What video those gallery dept clips from?
Man just get some cowboy bootcut wrangler jeans or head to your Western wear store and get some boot cuts . Haha
RICK FLARE!
The vuja de cargos have gone down in price i believe because they restocked the cargos on pre-order
Checkout Valelives!

How long did it take to ship them?
They never shipp anything it’s a scam please stop losing
I’m going to just sit on my straight fit style while I let this flare fit have it’s time cause it’s not for me
Same I don't like the look of it
How about now
This is one of those trends that will get laughed at hard once hype dies down lol.

Anyone know where to cop a cheap pair of NB 992s
Most of these pants look hella similar .kinda fire tho

should've recommended wrangler instead of true haha
I don't dig the two-tone look. Would be better to purchase the authentic 70's levis orange tabs.
Arnt they called boot cut jeans? “ the original version “ I remember when true religion was poppin , the bottom was huge
