  • A note about developing fighters for Buhurt, with a concentration on putting people in armor.

    I forgot to turn my camera sideways, but wanted to repost anyway as the actual information is pertinent and is a good example of my philosophy on training.

    How long would you typically suggest for someone who's fresh to the sport, and physical fitness in general? I know I got to put loaner armour on right away, but also ended up doing reasonably well even with my less than fit state at the time. Putting on the armour and having that experience is what fully brought me into the sport.
    I'm still relatively new to armoured fighting, but not new to martial arts, which probably aided hugely in my earlier mentioned experience.
    Would you say no to someone who's keen to try the armour on, and maybe let them fight on it, provided they're given proper warning that they're gonna suck?
