That supermarket is among the more expensive ones, not the most though. Better prices can be found in other supermarkets like La Bomba, Cacique, El Pueblo, Luisito, Casa Grütter, Salemma, Fortis (wholesaling) and Mercado 4 which is an open traditional market but you'd need a local guide to go there because it's a bit chaotic. 😂

Mburucuya is the authentic guarani name for the fruit. Other countries use maracuja, as they can pronounce guarani. The more wrinkled it looks, the sweeter it is.

everything is in metric in Paraguay I take it? those frozen french fries are from Canada lol ...looks like its about 50% cheaper than Canada maybe a little more.

Esta en el supermercado más caro, generalmente en esos lugares cuesta tres veces más, generalmente el precio de la cebolla está entre 80 centavos, la lechuga 2 por 1 dolar inclusive en las ferias locales co sigues frutas y verduras sin fumigar y más baratas !
