    Feed the vegans to the animals. This way, we get meat and population also decreases.

      george agathangelou Tell me about it. All the third world countries that shouldn't be having children have the highest birth rates. No one needs a whole herd of children, especially if they have to rely on aid to feed them. I would never bring a child into this world if I was extremely poor. What kind of life is that? I think it's selfish.

      @JustinLHopkins 8 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      Mike Mckay I don't think you're understanding what I'm saying. I certainly don't support genocide! I'm simply bringing to attention the fact that the growth rate in developing countries is unsustainable and causes major problems.

      +Savanna Obregon Yep, I too believe that is the solution. Look up vertical farming, basically it means each city could be fed with a couple of skyscrapers full of plants, grown in water or even moist air (as long as all nutrients and water are provided, soil is not necessary). Production could be as technologically efficient as possible and since they would be in the city there would be little waste in terms of transportation to consumers.

      "out breed" lol, who cares, remember all the Black people murdered by European weapons and still kept under dicatatorships and debt slavery by them today!
      What is so ignorant is that no matter where you live white people DID consistently and horrifically commit REAL genocide and you are worried about some black people having more children than you, believe me after this conversation I'd say, PLEASE LET THEM, stop breeding for humanities sake.
      As for leftist, well like so many far right you don't even know what the left is so you confuse it with progressive Capitalists which isn't the left at all, but heck I don't expect ignorant people to read Marx when you can't even debunk racist propaganda.
      Actually immigration would make little sense in a strong Democratic-Socialist state beyond what the people wanted for their own needs, it is AND ALWAYS HAS BEEN Capitalists that love immigration, this is the doctrine of CAPITAL, destroy labor movements and Socialism, divide communities, destroy countries to keep foreign labor cheap and keep the endless conflicts stirred.
      As for the rest of it I suggest you watch Shaun as he totally debunks you right wing nonsense and honestly you are just embarrassing yourself, but hey so long as you can get a few left wing voters to vote for your right wing nonsense then MONEY can accrue in it's current hands and that's all that matters for you guys really I mean aside from the true ideological loonies like the ones who we executed at Nuremberg.

      Wars are terrible in the short-term, but are usually extremely beneficial in the long-term.

      However, we are all related in one way or another. Decendants of the same ancestors (whether they be man or beast). Go back further and were all born from the same star... Tiny framents of carbon cycled and recycled through millions and millions of years.

      It takes a rain forest "65" years to grow back and coral reef "150" years to rebuild, imagine that on a piece of forest over 100,000 miles. I think we will kill ourselves with the air pollution and the chopping of tree's before we fill earth to the brim with people.
      All we need to convince the wold to "comfortable" and not "too comfortable". That means a HOUSE,TWO KIDS, PARENTS, DOG is good, but a ten story mansion is too much.
      'SORRY BILL GATES, NOW GIVE AWAY YOUR MONEY FOR THE OTHERS THAT NEED IT."
      And if we ate more produce then meat, we would have more space. A salad and A FEW pieces of steak is fine, NOT half of steak for dad and the rest for the family. The best way to get rid of left over is to "SOUP IT." And have left over nights on Friday. restraints and fast food produce 58% of food waste. (NOT COUNTING MCDONALDS, BURGER KING, DENNY'S OR WENDY'S)
      And also recycling would help a lot, landfills take 20% of developed countries land mass. Poor countries dump their trash were ever. If the factories used metal over plastic it would be better. "METAL IS HARD TO FIND THEY SAY." If you crush 40 pounds of large rocks in your back yard, You could make 20 pounds of iron, 10 pounds of steel and 6 pounds of copper. The left over rocks could be used for MIXED BRICKS and CEMENT.
      Your poop can be THROWN INTO A INSINUATOR rather then waste plants. You could use your poop to fuel power plants instead too. Be stinky but less land used for a dumb cause. (you to toilet to septic tank to waste plant)
      THEY THINK T IS TO EXPENSIVE TO DO.
      my question is what will you do when there's no more room for people to live any more?

    • @nolanwestrope7396
      @nolanwestrope7396 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      The main problem I see with that is the transportation of the goods to and from the moon. It might only take a few days, but $10,000(At least, I'm not quite sure) per trip, and lots of fuel. So first, we need to solve that.

      At minimum. That's just for the rocket, not including the major inflation that would happen on oil for the fuel. The carrying of the food back and forth will add on weight, and that needs for fuel. And then we have to get the fuel to the moon... That is, unless en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electrically_powered_spacecraft_propulsion works. Then, we just need a ton of solar cells.

    Why can't we just move 2 Mars???

    • @novairaleth2331
      @novairaleth2331 9 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      Mars is inhabitable and will always be inhabitable. The only way we can populate Mars is if we terraform it into an Earth-like planet and find a way we can transport goods to Mars from our home land. Also there are better planets out there that can support life, and NASA has found many of them. Only problem is that they are very far away and we cannot observe those planets close up to confirm a rocky planet with water and land with temperatures that are like Earths. Mars can get VERY cold. Also terraforming can take millions of years, and by then Earth will already be destroyed by us. We don't take care of our planet and we don't think about the consequences of pollution or overpopulation, those consequences will then come back to haunt our children of the future. We have to find a new planet and fast, Earth cannot be saved anymore...mostly because we deny that we destroyed the Earth. We can't save Earth, we don't know how long Earth has left, but soon we can no longer live here.

      Sylvano Tamacas Earth is not destroyed or "lost," it has simply been altered by us a little. You would be a fool to think that we actually have the power to literally destroy the Earth. Even if we managed to nuke the world into nothing but an uninhabitable floating rock it would still recover over a few hundred thousand or even million years. But the only way for humanity to continue to progress is for us to expand into space and to other planets, and too many people deny or refuse to see this. It doesn't help that the funding and research of NASA (the global leader of research and space exploration ever since it began) has now been cut dramatically and the space shuttle program has been cancelled indefinitely.

    • @CreedK

      Obi Wan I agree with you, and I support necessary military spending (and it is necessary) more than most people. But it's easy to see that pretty much all first world countries today have an absolutely ridiculous defense budget because of complicated relationships with other first world countries and because of problems in third world countries (which the US and EU shouldn't but at the same time need to address almost constantly). These funds would be better spent elsewhere if the harsh reality of our world wasn't that the majority of humans are just flat out selfish assholes due to our nature and the way that our society works. We constantly talk and fight about issues that shouldn't even be issues at all. Gay marriage, world hunger, world peace, political troubles with the middle east, and constant competition between basically the entire eastern and western worlds. These are problems that are incredibly easy to solve but will remain unsolved for many decades and maybe even centuries to come simply because us humans suck at living with people that we don't like, know, or who are different.

    What about farming insects? As far as I know, they have way more protein than beef per pound and they take way less resource than cattle. However, we should be careful with this since too much protein can have a negative impact in our body (since simple weight gain to liver failure, dehydration, and even being linked to growing cancer cells) So not sure if better than a plant based vegan diet.
    Vegans still can get enough protein in all the veggies & seeds, if not, synthetic supplements that already exist or that would be developed according to our needs.

    I own an Ag company named Meivission Agriculture. I am in the middle of researching a "Future Farm". In this model of farming staple crops such as wheat, barley, oats, etc. I believe I can farm approximately 1/4 section of land, or nearly 160 acres in a 2 acre plot (400'X400'X230'). My design involves new technology and the crop would be 100% organic and be independent of weather systems; this means every acre of crop will be top grade come every harvest. Depending on grow zone, I estimate 2 crops/year, and each crop yielding approx. 5-10x when compared to conventional farming.
    Using sustainable energy (wind/solar/hydro), and requiring 70% less water, makes this an excellent implement to drought prone areas. Additionally this farm can be located in nearly any climate, or areas with poor soil or minimal available land.

    Thoughty2!!!! I love your videos, but I have to say, the things you said about veganism and what people need is wrong!!! You get everything you need from PLANTS.The only thing it lacks is vitamin B12 and that is easy to supplement. Also meat and dairy are very unhealthy. Number one killer is heart disease and it is directly linked to the fat and cholesterol in meat and dairy. Otherwise how would you explain how healthy all vegans are? The president of the American Association of Cardiology is vegan and reccomends eating a plant based diet to REVERSE heart disease and diabetes.

      ENZOxDV9 You really need to do more research in veganism because what you are saying about veganism and deficiencies is not true at all. No, protein is not a problem for vegans. There are a lot of things to eat on a vegan diet that provides you all the protein you need my friend. Some protein rich vegan foods are: Legumes, Soy beans, Grains, Chia seeds, Nuts, Quinoa, Hempseeds and so on.. And yes, you can even get complete protein from a vegan diet. And then we have B12. B12 is a bacteria that is found naturally in the soil. Yes it is true that animal products have a lot of B12 in it but they are either getting it from the soil or being given supplements to be that rich in B12. And we can do it too if we stop overfarming and destroying the soil.

The results are squatter camps where huge families live in corrugated iron shacks. I often see unemployed women begging on street corners with babies or toddlers in the full sun all day. World governments need to educate people about birth control, the planet can only take so much. Sadly the rest of Africa is even worse.

    Though contraception is a problem in Africa its not really a big thing to focus on compared to the countries economy or developmental stand point. What you should focus on is developing countries in Africa from Stage 2 and stage 3 countries to either stage 3 and stage 4 countries. Think about it. Because of lack of medical care, food, water and so many other needs parents have to compensate for the children that don't make it. Most or some countries in Africa have high infant mortality rates compared to developed countries like the US or UK. To make sure the parents have enough children that survive they have to have 6 to 8 children. Then let's say only 2 of those kids die. Boom 4 to 6 are left. Thus increasing the population. Another fact to consider is because of the economical/developmental state some countries in Africa are in is that children are seen as an asset (help with Labour) which is why some families have lots of kids. In developed countries kids don't really do much so they don't have as many. How to help with this? Better education especially of women (not being sexist) because this allows all ppl to learn about contraception whichll help decrease population . Then the next thing to focus on is medical availability or better developmental state. This'll decrease infant mortality and once people start noticing that more kids are living they'll start having less kids. Boom. Decrease in population. No need to go all purge, war, genocide, pandemic, and stuff like that. You just gotta develop those developing countries and further educate its people.
    Truly yours,
    Future M.D.

    LOL, if you aren't going to give accurate facts you should probably not make these videos. Not enough protein in a vegetarian diet for instance. Where do you think the protein in beef comes from? The cow doesn't magically make it out of thin air. It comes from the grass and vegetation the cow eats. Everything our bodies need essentially come from plants. If your vegetarian diet doesn't have enough protein then it's because you are avoiding protein rich foods such as potatoes, (5-11%) depending on the type. This video is so ill informed that it borders on propaganda. Simply disgusting.

      FellVoice Ok so, we are not cows. We are omnivores, we can't process protein like a cow does. I agree that we can get everything from a vegetarian diet, but its a lot of work, evidenced by so many vegetarians having problems with it, although its likely worth the effort.. I've tried it myself but I get cravings for meat, I just can't stand it, veggies don't make my base urges get satisfied.

      Janne_ Yeah I'm not saying its impossible.

    • @FellVoice
      @FellVoice 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Jaden Oldfield To be fair I wasn't saying that we are cows. I was saying that the protein that we claim to only be able to get from meat is available from plants. If you were having problems with cravings then you were probably not eating the right variety of foods to satisfy them or not eating enough of them. Some people try to get by with salads and other low density foods because they don't know any better. This simply isn't possible since lettuce is about 90% water. You need a more robust diet with things like starches (rice, potatoes etc) and high density foods like bananas that are full of fiber to trigger the fullness response, try 2 or 3 bananas when you get that unsatisfied feeling, you'll be surprised. And they are only about 100 calories each, equivalent to 1 to 2 slices of bread depending on brand. The other place that people kinda mess up is not getting enough plant fats such as from avocados, nuts, seeds, olives etc, even though fruits actually have all we need so you can eat all you wish since plant fats are the healthy kind that don't clog your arteries. On our ability to process different sources of protein ie animal vs plant, everything in our biology suggests that we are primarily plant eaters. Everything from our grinding jaw teeth to our extra long intestines that are meant to process plants over an extended period. We are descended from the great apes and they are almost all primarily herbivores and frugivores (fruit eaters) . It is true that we have a mutation that allows us to process meat but the research into those genes suggests that this was caused due to a catastrophe, most likely a volcano explosion around 100,000 years ago that caused the sky to be choked out with ash and blotted out the sun killing much of the plant life so we adapted and ate what was available (plants and animals). The ones with the genetics to process meat survived and we are their descendents. This doesn't give us free reign however as our organs have not completely caught up to this adaptation. Carnivores and omnivores have substantially shorter intestinal tracts and much more stomach acid for processing meat which we don't do very well without cooking which helps break it down, basically predigesting it for us. Plus if you look at what animal products do to our Ph levels it becomes clear why omni and carnivores intestines are shorter per body size, it's because they are designed to to process it and get rid of it where as ours it tends to languish in our guts for up to 48 hrs during which time it acidifies our bodies and adds unneeded cholesterol to our systems. Health studies basically show that the human body runs optimally on a balanced plant based diet where when we add meat to the diet we nearly instantly start to develop problems. Sorry if this was a bit long but it just seemed necessary. I want you to live a long healthy happy life and meat eaters don't tend to do so well in that department. Just try to add plant based foods to your diet until you find the ones that do satisfy. I had that problem when I started 3-4 yrs ago myself and now I am as healthy as I have ever been and feeling sated isn't a problem. Good luck to you.

    Even two children is too much, because it is not like that the parents die right away after the kids are born, and there are still the grandparents. So 2 become 4(parents + kids) and then once the kids are adults and have a partner it will be 8 people(remember the grandparents?). It would slow the growth down, but it is still growing, so technically one child per couple would be more realistic.
    Here some extras ideas to stop or at least slow down the population growth: It needs to be priority in schools to teach teens about family planing, protection, reproduction, pregnancy, child raising, costs, retirement, etc. Because lots of people have no idea how hard and expensive it is to raise kids.
    Media needs to show more people living an awesome life without kids or partner(single life can be amazing).
    Birthcontrol should be for free and easy to access. Support for only one child(includes education). Adoption should be made easier.
    If someone decides not have any children; they receive a huge pay check (either when they get themselves fixed(for free) or with the menopause).

      I like the idea of single life and to be rewarded for it but sadly this is never going to happen. Money and resources are needed more for children than for a single adult. Single life needs to be very productive at something to be highly rewarded. It would be ridiculous to reward those who never do anything and just live for free to waste resources. Its like "hey you don't want children? Congratulations! You won the lottery for that"

      +Steffi Maier IDK he may or may not of factored in the mortality rate. White women make up less then 2% of the worlds fertility rate. So I have no idea why this is shown to us in such away . Unless they're planning white genocide.

    Here's what we do, we increase farming productivity, go back to hunting, and maybe consider other things that ill mention with the benefit.
    Benifits:
    1. I heard that they have been developing new farming methods that can drastically decrease the resources needed for farming, so we can reduce the amount of water and other things and be able to support the population.
    2. If we hunted animals all at a certain time we could give the animal farmers more time to grow they're animals.
    3. We all know that we should take in 8 cups of water per day or whatever it is but is that really the case? There have been study's where depending on the life style you don't really half to drink that much water. The things that you need to consider when figuring out your water consumption is how much you work out, your drive to walk ratio, how many other liquids you consume throughout the day because they have water in them, etc.
    4. Fasting(this one is not recommended but can still help). Fasting is basically not eating for a short or long period of time. This is effectively a diet where you don't eat because it makes you lose weight, and it increases brain activity.
    5. Have our own farms(optional). This might be a hassle but maybe we should grow some of our own vegdibles.
    6. People, we should consider showering and watering our lawns less and less everywhere(this maybe crazy and optional but still a suggestion). If we shower just every other day or even consider showering once a week we can not only reduce how much a water each human uses and lawns only need to be watered every so and so days considering where you live. We'd only use enough water to wash our hands every so often with the exception of our once and a while showers and watering the lawn. Besides feminists are already making guy have no hopes of getting a lady so \_😏_/.
    There are other things we can do but those are the things I can come up with at the moment.

      As Pramod said, you cut your child to 10 parts. Afterwards, you give away/donate those ten parts to the extreme poverty. Meantime after around 30 years or so, the human population will decrease and the amount of people suffering from starvation/hunger will also decrease and the Earth will finally be able to support life.

    Ok you have some points but the vegetarian not getting enough protein is incorrect.
    Also do you realize how much food is overeaten in america or even wasted in food services.
    Misallocation of resources is way more to blame
