Poultry is profitable but management is key
Am very inspired by this friends and everything they have acquired. Have also started with 2500 birds and am now in my six weeks, so far so good. Am planning relocating from the US to manage it myself. Charles thanks for everything you doing to bring videos likes this to inspire me and others.

Please bro can 30.000gh start with 300 berds
Very good interview, however the producttion calculations for yhe 1000 birds is a little bloated. You can do 27-28 crates.
That means you are poor at managing. The calculation is very accurate if you do your things well and everything goes well for u. 30 creates from a 1000 birds is 900 eggs per day. Which means 90% laying. I know someone who has 93% laying. So go and find out what you are doing wrong.

The dimensions and other details will be looked into details in subsequent videos. This Sunday's video will be a tour of the farm. The structure and its dimension was discussed.
But the real question is what is your COGS on the GHC 150k/m?
I think they worked that out using the 1000 birds scenario. Ended at a margin of about 16k with this scenario.
With economies of scale the COGS will be lower for the current 12500 birds. I'm into it and I must admit the feed can take your calcs out of gear especially with the kids current exchange rate driven inflation in GH.
There is a farming program coming off in my area and would have loved it if you could attend. A farmer in my area is launching a project to support 1000 youths to enter into agric... The date is 21st Oct, 2023 at Twifo Praso. Central region

Correct me if I am wrong 150 crates a day that is like 39 percent of the capacity for 12500 birds the it means they are making losses or that is the quantity for their profits in eggs
The 150 crates are from their 6000 birds which are currently laying. They have another 6500 birds which are about 6 weeks old and those haven't started laying yet. Hope this clarifies?
meaning they are making 75% it can be better,they should intensify their management
