Dude, sorry you went through this! Your attitude is admirable - strong but not suppressing the feelings either. Thanks for sharing this! Also, I have to say… your edit, graphics and storytelling are on another level! True embodiment of “ when life gives you lemons. Excited to see those new projects you’ve been juggling too
It will all come back. As nothing happened. I had something very similar when ink was young. But now it's time to take care of yourself . You only handle stress mentally well . The body doesn't understand that , and when it's too much it lets you know.
Dude I watched this with my girl and she has it too. She was finishing your sentences when you were talking about treatment stuff. She felt seen. Thanks for this! She also said definitely don't sleep on the light therapy!
@D4Darious Hey mate! PLEASE READ. I had similar problems for 2 Years, most likely due to a similar situation with stress, food and sleep. I also tried medication and shampoos with very mixed results and bad hair. I have long hair and started wearing hats too, what made it even worse, because 'it' likes warm, moist environment. About 6month ago i tried someting called MCT coconut oil, with a low or zero amount of lauric acid. Its basicaly a special but cheap kind of oil that does not feed the problem back, but also moisturizes. It worked for me almost instantly with minor fallback but continued to improve until i got my head back.☺️ PLEASE give this a shot. All the best! Simon
I knew something was wrong. I was def scared of the worst. Stay strong bru bruh. You have to work on this psychologically too. You state of mind contributes to your healing. This will gradually varnish if you get back to being yourself. Stay happy, stay proactive. Do more of things on your bucket list. The more you are worried about this, the more it comes back. It keeps coming back cos you keep trying to find a solution. No matter the treatment, your mind needs to be at peace for healing to be permanent. Stress of the mind is the biggest cause of this. I have it too. Not as bad as yours. Get sunlight. 20 minutes a day. Grab a tablet and work on a script in the sun each day. You'll definitely notice the difference in like 5 days.
Is it okay if you have a cover on your head while getting sunlight?Have a lot of hair and use it before going to bed and sometimes let it stay on my head throughout the day
I was diagnosed with Vitiligo after 24 years of service in the military. My skin has a bunch of areas where there are is no melanin/pigment. Pure white. It's spreading and I have tried treatments with little effect. I feel you brother!
I've had Vitiligo since I was pretty young, and was diagnosed pretty early on... It's super tough to come to terms with, so I totally feel you here. But I'm going on 10+ years of living with generally extreme Vitiligo (and with most of my spots on my neck, hands, and face) and I can say: It gets so much easier! All of these years later I've finally learned to appreciate having them, because it's truly such a unique thing that you're not likely to see many others with. I hope you get to this point too!
This video randomly showed up on my recs and damn, your editing is amazing and your storytelling is captivating! Thank you so much for sharing your story (and for your service)! I hope you find the relief you need and deserve. As someone with eczema, I absolutely understand how life-changing skin issues can be.
Got scared when I started developing it on my left hand and feet a few years back. Started taking more showers, like 3 a day, thinking I was just peeling and needed to clean better...that made it worse 😑
Please try sabai oil from Thailand made from ancient recipe you'll see difference in 2 days so worth it my friends toddlers had very bad wet eczema armpits chest ears belly so i gave her sabai oil cause babies crying from pain the smell of lotus oil calm them and heal the skin good natural relief .
Never seen a vid of your's before but man, pulled me right in with the amazing storytelling and editing! Glad to hear you're pushing through despite the circumstances, really courageous!
We applaud your honesty, transparency and bravery in telling your story and sharing your journey as always. All the very best moving forward with this situation 🙏🏾
The most artistic way to deal with it. You're so much more than what you look like. I'll be watching your videos regardless of what you look like, cus it doesn't matter. You're amazing! 🤗💪
Dude, I've been struggling with psoriasis for over 10 years now, ever since I was 10-11 years old. It has taken over my body in full, thankfully I've got it under control in the last 4-5 months but still little changes in my diet over the course of months has made it flare up. This has been the case for the last 10 years, sometimes even flaring up so bad that there's not a single square inch of clear skin, just irritated, dry scaly skin. It has impacted my mental health, my social life, my studies and I feel isolated since there is no one else who can understand these issues. Seeing you getting better gives me hope. I'll try my best to do everything possible to get it under control. Edit: Also you have balls to share such a personal story publicly, cheers for that man🤝
Haha Id be in depression if I was in your situation, Id be trying so hard to get rid of it. If having it so bad 4 years back when I had to put creams and stuff on it for an hour or two and go to hospital for some ultraviolet thing was annoying, then trying to fix that is like fighting and uphill battle. People can understand you, just not those around you. Ive had to explain this to my 'friends' like 4 times atleast. Weird why they even ask questions about it since they clearly dont pay any attention to my answers.
You're a great documentary filmmaker. This short could be nominated for an Oscar. It is inspiring how artfully and lucidly you were able to make this piece about your personal hardship. It's not easy to see this clearly when the world is weighing on you. I'm hoping all the best for you, and congratulations on handling psoriasis so courageously.
As someone growing up with Psoriasis since 4 years of age, I feel you man. Still battling it now at 27 years of age. Just don't let it run your life my dude, and like you said it could be worse. But it does suck tho. Hope things get better for you too my guy.
Your positive energy even through a situation like this is amazing. Always the positive people who make the best recoveries through their struggles. Keep going, man. You got this.
Wow. So inspirational and moving. Good for you man. After a similar live changing experience, I decided to hell with it...moving along, living life, making videos after 10 months. Slowley getting there. Thanks for the story...it imspites me. p.s. Sorry for any misspellings, I literally can't read yet, Love to you bro - Kevin
I’ve had scalp psoriasis for a pretty long time, never to this extreme extent though, this is an extreme case. usually dandruff shampoo makes it go away for me, but seeing you have it all over your beard and eyebrows makes me get the chills.
I'm at 2:50 . And my god, the editing and the sound design is top notch. Awesome job.And hope to god, that everything is going to come to normal in your life bro !
Psoriasis doesn't get enough attention behind a-list conditions, but it can be brutal. Cost me a lot of nerves and self-esteem. Good to see it talked about. Glad to see you're in remission at the end.
Goddam the storytelling here is amazing! I love you bro and sorry you had to go through this. You are and will always be my favourite youtube filmmaker
BRO this is so fricking brave! I've been dealing with eczema for a few years now and my scalp and face has always been the worst to deal with mentally. Thank you for sharing this story!! I wish the best for you!
It happened to me last year. After a couple of burnouts, hair loss, even a fun 6 months with facial paralysis, this thing showed up. worse than anything, I had to change my glasses, and any time I took mine of, and tried another pair at the store... I dusted the table, I was sweating with embarrasement. besides multiple projects and managing the business side of things., I just had my first kid, was building a home.. so now I am taking it slow, in the long run, what I gain by doing too much, will cost way more than I gained. letting go of things helped the most. going out in the daylight, daily, not once a week, also helped. it really contradicts the mentality of productivity that is popular nowadays, but you can't pe productive if you are sick, so take care of yourself. really good edit.
No huge budget television show could come close to the subtle, yet amazing way your video is produced. Pure class. More important; is your honesty in illustrating your story for other people who feel frustrated & alone with this issue. God Bless and keep that incredible outlook, you are an inspiration.
(Fellow TH-camr here) - hmmmmmmmm - it's very interesting how we both don't only have autoimmune (I have hypothyroid & a bit of psoriasis on my elbows) - but our SLEEP habits are identical - no problem falling asleep around 10pm, but waking up at 3-4am and that's it - no more for me - it's been like this for at least 3-4 years - give or take. Now - here's a very strange turn of events that I'm going to share with you.. 1) vitamin C, make sure you're getting yours, directly linked to autoimmune 2) GYM! - I just came off of a week of COVID - and as such, for the first time in a LONG time, I took a good 2 week break from the gym. Darius - my sleep hasn't been this good in YEARS!. No little aches, pains etc.. just super deep rich sleep. I can't remember the last time I slept this good. 3) vitamin D - there are many studies showing that autoimmune isn't only linked to Vit D deficiency, but Vit D RESISTANCE - you might need to take far more than normal. Just some food for thought. Thank you so much for posting this!
wow - that sucks that you had to deal with that - but then to be able to document and put it here - good for you. Wish you all the best and full recovery.
Bro.. youre super strong. I remember having to go a dermatologist when i was younger about 14 years ago with similar symptoms but even at my worst it didnt spread to my face... doc prescribed the very same shampoo and some ointments. And i responded gracefully to the medicine. But just like you this thing is in my dna and wont go away... having to use the very same stuff has become a part of my life and even a week without it i can feel my skin angry and the flakes everywhere. I hope u can learn what works for u the best so u can make it into a habit and continue with your life
Sounds like you had quite the ride bro. Proud of you for coming on the other side of it more or less, and making this incredible animation to convey how it felt to go through the journey.
Sorry to hear about this. Sounds really tough. I'm on a waiting list for a liver transplant at the moment so I know what it's like trying to make TH-cam videos when you have something like this hanging over your head. I need to make 'the video', but your video has shown me that it doesn't need to be a solemn, straight-to-camera thing. This has inspired me to aim for something a bit more engaging.
I'm sorry to hear this, J. I can't imagine the challenges you're facing. You've got the right idea. It's far more interesting to make art out of these trials.
@@D4Darious I can kind of relate to your condition with the excessive itching of the scalp , It's been two weeks now and I gave up bread and sugar and what a difference! Hardly any itchy scalp also all diseases are caused by toxicity brought on by a bad diet , what's more you need to cleanse your LIVER AND KIDNEYS because they are responsible for filtering out TOXINS FROM THE BODY !!! Your condition sounds like an overworked Liver so now you gotta rebuild it !! Hope this advice helps .
I've had Scalp Psoriasis since I was 10 or so, seeing you deal with the ups and downs of battling this medical condition helped me feel not as lonely whenever I have to explain to someone why I have to go bald every now and then. Keep fighting the good fight and don't let it keep you down!
I love how he story tells, his attitude that can't count as attitude really. MUSIC and SOUND EFFECTS! I ADORED THEM, finally something uniquely fun to watch, even though i had no care to watch some guys head skin problem i had so much fun. Keep going king!
“ when the world needed him the most , he vanished.” You can tell with this video or your last couple of videos that your editing is elevating . Your definitely hitting your prime or entering your prime , your videos is well made . Godspeed mayne 🙏🏽👌🏽
I was wondering! Darious, I could give you a hug man. People do have it a lot worse, but when it becomes something that affects how you look, that has a whole kind of toll on its own. I'm glad it turned out like this and that things are okay now, at least for the time being. Looking forward to more videos, but hope your journey continues on this upward trend!
Thank you for being so open and frank about your battle with this, your explanation of the struggle and the final reveal have given me comfort and hope. I have been struggling with Seborrheic Dermatitis for the last six months or so, flare ups followed by short periods of mild recovery - but it's always there. Fortunately my scalp issues are relatively mild in comparison to yours and are controllable with the shampoos. Not so much for my face. The Sleep Hygiene trigger sounds like a major factor to look out for - I have ME/CFS so my sleep quality is through the floor. Use this opportunity to develop a good work/rest life balance... it will stand you in good stead for the future. Once again - thank you for being so open about this, it has made a huge difference to my outlook. Long may your recovery hold, and power to you for your future projects!
This video randomly popped up in my feed. And I started watching it and I kept watching it because your ability to keep me engaged with your creativity is beyond most everyone else that makes videos but you have a certain attitude and personality that it’s just the extra kicker. Way to go bro! Hang in there!
I don't know you bro but this video was blessed by the algorithm and I was glad I watched it. Pristine editing and storytelling. Hope you are still healing and doing well. Thank you for spreading the awareness and your story.
I feel for you man. I’ve been dealing with this EXACT since high school. I’m glad to see you’ve gotten better. I really love your attitude about it. Mine has been consistent and prevailing a lot of times, but I gained so much from allowing myself to still have a life with it. I’m glad yo see you still went to work and and were even brave enough to document it for the people that admire you and your work that might be going through the same stuff.
It must be hell to go through this, but you sound strong and spiritually healthy. You will be a comfort and inspiration to others who suffer but lack your inner strength.
I have been dealing with Topical Steroid Withdrawal for the last 30 months and it drove me to the point of having suicidal thoughts during my worst times. I can relate to how painful and uncomfortable this situation was for you regarding your psoriasis. I’m glad that I’ve finally graduated high school and now I have the summer to destress and take time off. I wish you the best of recovery and thank you for sharing your story with us and spreading awareness. Debilitating skin conditions are NO JOKE!
I've been dealing with psoriasis since high school and I'm now I'm in my 50's. Years ago I decided to take biologics even though they scared the hell out of me. The biologics worked really well although I am am having a a flareup on my hands right now. I'm hoping it is short lived. It's an awful disease most people don't understand. There's the fact that it's uncomfortable (or worse for some people) and then there's the embarrassment of just having it and not wanting to deal with the stares and weird looks. Not many understand that part of it and it takes a toll. Good luck!
I had a similar experience when I was In the military, I developed seborrheic dermatitis and alot of the same symptoms you experieneced. The flare-ups can get bad but I have had it managed for a bit. Definitely took a toll on my confidence for a while and knowing it can pop up at any time. I feel for you dude. Hope the flare ups stay away.
Sorry to hear that you going through with this..but you are my hero, a true legend and a great filmmaker, have learnt so many things from you.. Wish you a speedy recovery!!!
As someone who also has stress related health issues, I learned ‘handling stress well’ is not measured by your capability to endure stress, its about regulating the amount of stress you go through. Your body has likely responded to the amount of stress, with an actual immune response. At least that’s what happened to me. I ended up taking less hours at work, and using my free time to adopt a new philosophy that helped me to let go of feeling stress. That and also much longer sleep, which took a while to get used to, but eventually became routine. I hope some of this helps a little. You got this!
Welcome back my friend. Thank you for sharing your story in such eloquent and cinematic way! Brother, you are one of the best film making instructors out there! You have taught this old man much in my film making journey. I have a similar issue concerning hair. . . the difference is that i'm just gettin old! LOL Keep on rockin !! Make God proud! Thanks again to all the mentors who do not know me, D4Darious, Ryan Connolly, Jordy@Cinicom,and many others! Big time fan Wayne Sales
Dude I missed you! So sorry you had to deal with this. :/ So glad it got better! :D On the bright side, this video was dope. Love your style of editing, graphics, sound fx, etc... Just perfect! I hope you keep doing what you do. Love you man. Peace!
Aowoo- the thing is frustrating. And it will turn off and on like a switch. Please continue to sleep well and manage stress, my dear. We all have our little struggles.
I feel you man. I have eczema, and the rashes on my forearms usually just feels so damn itchy and sore all the time. Treatment is kinda helping though currently still recovering when it comes to it.
Hey man you’re an inspiration I’ve been watching you for a long time. I didn’t know you were a veteran. I am as well. I’m glad the VA was able to get you at least diagnosed. Living with chronic disease is tough but not impossible. Keep moving and you got this.
As someone who spends a lot of time on Camera and has dealt with a similar issues my entire life, I can totally relate to this to some extent. This honestly has motivated me to actually set up an appointment with a dermatologist so I can get professional help 😅
Hey brother, just super randomly found this video in which I found you. One, touched by your story - Two, incredible storytelling and super well done. Keep your head up, you looking good, perhaps time for a vacation-travel-vlog if possible. Also I know many who have gone or are going through something like this will be touched and inspired by this story -- keep it up, hopefully this story reaches others. I'll keep you in my prayers as well, one love.
My heart goes out to you. I developed eczema back in early 2020, and my self-image has taken a big hit because of it. Suddenly a property that my skin never had, that was never a problem in my life, became something that I'm gonna have to deal with for the rest of my life. Thankfully, it's stayed away from my face, but I've had just about every other area on my body effected at some point. At its worst I want to say it was covering at least 60% of my body. Chest, sides, armpits, inner elbows, inner knees, thighs, and back. Right now it's mainly just on my inner knees and forearms, and the effected areas aren't as dry or irritated. I can deal with that. But I don't know when it might take over my body again. It's weird, because it doesn't spread so much as it moves. The effected area will expand, but only the edges of it are actually effected. I had a spot show up on one of my shoulders, then expand and take up my entire chest/neck/back area, and now it's worked it's way down to my forearms, but everything above them has gone back to normal. Anyway, I just wanted to say that I can relate to having your entire sense of self taken over by some flaky scales almost overnight. The early signs are easy to miss or underestimate, but once it snowballs it just takes your shit over.
You are a Trooper Dude. Much love. Big love. Don't ever be afraid to show your face no matter how bad things get. You have my support, and I hope things continue progressing positively.
I honestly truly, didn't know you were a veteran, thank you for your service, not just teaching filmmaking, but in life, and protecting ours! Thank you!
I have the same condition man. As someone who's always had long hair, I shaved my head for the first time which is allowing me to treat it more easily. It's really looking like I'm on the mend and I'm hoping this trend continues.. Wishing you the same on your journey brother. 👊 Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for making this video, sorry you had to go through that, but these kinda stories always help me come to terms with my psoriasis every once in a while. I have it on my scalp, but also on my whole body, even my genitalia, which makes a lot of things very uncomfortable in life, such as showing yourself to sexual partners, it makes for some very awkward conversations. It has gotten a lot better with the years, had to change my diet and habits up a lot, but im suffering less so even if it means eating no gluten, milk etc., im fine with it. This disease just shows how important the image of oneself is. I have many more diseases, one of them might cause me to die early, but if i had to choose which one to get rid of, it would be psoriasis. I have suffered so much bc of it. So i feel you and i am happy that it has turned out the way that it has for you.
This video shocked me. I've been following your channel for legit years. I have really bad psoriasis on my joints, torso, knees, ankles, scalp, all over. I'm comforted knowing that someone who influences me as a filmmaker is suffering through a similar ailment to me. It can get stressful but we'll get through it.
What a wildly great video. Your visuals and storytelling skills are top notch. Good luck in your battle! As a black guy with skin issues myself I can see where you're coming from
I had something similar on my arms and back, was recommended an elimination diet. As soon as I started on dairy, boom… now it’s all gone, haven’t had a flare up since. It’s extreme to cut everything out, but it was so good to know what was the cause. It’s different for everyone, good luck my guy.
hey man, I am going through the same thing right now. Actually, I have been going through this since I was around 8 or something, and only recently started having inflammations in the scalp, and face. It is a nightmare, and trust me the worst about getting it in the eyelids are the issues you have when you wash your face or try to clean it in the morning. I lost a lot of hair, the meds I had to take even a chemo drug for three sessions at one instance, where it was a mess, and recently had taken Diprofos for a month... it was okay, it cleared up my skin issues, but I am not sure if that caused my libido to be shot, and have serious anxiety issues. It was just a brief moment, where I felt my skin was perfect again, my inflammation was gone, and my skin felt perfect... then, once it wore off, a week after the first month I was back to square one again. I had muscle aches, balls felt unnecessarily tender and painful briefly, woke up in cold sweats sometimes... I had some baby hairs around my frontal scalp where I had previously lost hair... and it was all good.. but I knew taking that systemic injection for long term would fuck me up for a while or cause irreversible damage to myself. I am still treating myself with topical treatments, it is an ongoing battle, and I have been holed up indoors, unable to go out or even see people because I developed some weird form of agoraphobia since the past few weeks, and now I am worried I might just end up staying indoors, and never bother going out again. I wish there was a single or simplified treatment option for this, without the unnecessary side effects and the damn complications. Please try using Urea lotions from Eucerin for your skin, including the Dermocapillaire for your scalp and beard if you have inflammations that start out: It is not that useful, if you have thick scabs or shedding. I have also used something called a Eucerin Shower Oil, it helps with softening the skin as well. I am also working with my doctor to make an affordable therapeutic oil based body wash as well, so hope for it to work out someday so I can bring it to the market as a therapeutic solution for maintenance.
Right before lock-down in 2020, my entire body broke out in eczema/dermatitis. When you talked about your emotions, I got teary eyed. That’s exactly how I felt. The ebbs and flows of flare ups are frustrating but yeah…you’re right..it’s just something we’ll have to work with as our lives continue on. Stay strong, Brother. You’re an inspiration to many.
I completely relate man. I have a receding hairline thanks to my genetics which is nowhere near your situation. I have to say that when I saw your face at the end of the video I was like hey he doesn’t look that bad. Then you revealed that it flipped on and flipped off. I can only imagine what you’re going through but ever realize that the Director is usually wearing a hat with the title of the film that he’s working on. Maybe there’s a correlation🤔. Take care man and can’t wait to see new content
Thank you for sharing your story; moving and masterfully told. Autoimmune disorders SUCK. They rarely have a cure and symptom treatment is hit or miss. They necessitate major lifestyle changes and figuring out what exactly to change is like searching for a needle in a haystack. Then you finally find the needle and receive some desperately needed relief. You finally feel like yourself again, only to discover a couple months later that your needle has magically turned into hay, and you're back at square one. I really appreciated your optimistic perspective. It's true, people suffer with a lot worse, and living with most autoimmune diseases can certainly be manageable. But the downside is we often find ourselves suffering in silence because of that. It's like you're shackled to a ball and chain; you can (and are often expected to) accomplish everything you did before it was affixed to you. Stay strong, my dude!
If you ever read this I hope you look into the theories as to why it might work. My sister and I both have dealt with severe psoriasis on our scalp and "other places" sometimes as bad as your scalp, sometimes worse. A few years ago when I was 40 I decided to jump on the Keto & fasting trend. Keto seemed to help but when I started regularly doing 24-72 hour fasts, all of my psoriasis disappeared. ..completely. It was the first time in my life I didn't have a single hot spot. Even after I went back to eating normal, it was gone. My sister had it worse than me, so bad that at some points she lost 50% of here hair. When she started short term fasts, and cut out about half of her Carb everything went back to normal. (Not even a true Keto diet.) Her hair grew back and even with having bright fair skin, it was gone. Sauna's and semi-regular cold showers also could have helped, I'm not sure. I know it's not "Cured" but like how you explained it, it turned off like a light switch. For me it's been 3 years and it hasn't came back. Good Luck! Life is a struggle we can overcome.
+1 for fasts and also SIGNIFICANTLY reducing sugar intake (aka carbs). Fasting gives your entire system a chance to take break so it can stop freaking the F out
Very interesting you mention this, Mike. My "little brother" (hes 25 and I'm 40) got hit with an autoimmune disorder this year. Started shutting down his liver and kidneys, he lost body strength and had severe aches and pains. High blood pressure, the works. It was a real crazy time. He scoured the interwebs and came across keto and fastting. Turned him right around. So, yeah, keto/fasting is definitely worth a shot, fam.
@@NoRevving keto is also known to help and even reverse some of the symptoms of Alzheimer's and other memory related neuropathologies, keto is a super powerful tool in terms of cell rest & regeneration
really hoping he sees this and other comments like this. there are many different diet experiements to help treat various auto-immune disorders, and the vast majority of them have no risk if done correctly, most even improve overall health. every body is different so a keto/fasting approach may not work for some, but i know it's worked for a LOT. there's no harm in trying... everyone with psoriasis should give it a good shot
Thank you for this! I myself am going through a severe facial inflammation and I can relate to so much you said. Glad you are almost back to normal again. The uncertainty of when my condition will get better is taking a toll on me, but this video gave me some confidence
@@SimonHergott I have not actually but that also seems very likely as well. I appreciate that too Simon. I’m just happy Darious shared his experience because I felt singled out for a while and was disgusted with my flare ups. Peace! 🍻
@@marcusbyrd3074 Yeah, it helps knowing others have gone through it and have come out the other side alright. I get it. I've had an auto immune disorder with my stomach for several years. Cutting out wheat and processed sugar helped me a great deal, to the point where no medication is needed. Amazing what a clean diet can do. Best of luck to you Marcus
@@CrusadesOClock only 2-3% of the population gets it and it’s not as common when you’re young. By health stats it’s not rare but that’s because doctors have a higher standard for that for some reason lol. 2-3% is rare to me lol

I have spots on my neck and face, hang in there!
My grandma has that. So did Michael Jackson.
This video randomly showed up on my recs and damn, your editing is amazing and your storytelling is captivating! Thank you so much for sharing your story (and for your service)! I hope you find the relief you need and deserve. As someone with eczema, I absolutely understand how life-changing skin issues can be.
Same here & Literally subscribed because of his delivery and vibe. Very humble man.

Godspeed my man. Not on my head, but I’ve battled eczema for a decade. And yes, that clobetasol is no joke!
C. Pike. Thank you for sharing Bruh-Bruh!
Thank you for this personal inside. Very happy to see you back.
I hope you find a healthy way of coping with that.
We applaud your honesty, transparency and bravery in telling your story and sharing your journey as always. All the very best moving forward with this situation 🙏🏾
Thank you T &J.
The most artistic way to deal with it. You're so much more than what you look like. I'll be watching your videos regardless of what you look like, cus it doesn't matter. You're amazing! 🤗💪
BEST COMMENT EVER!!!
Thank you Bel.
i like ur attitude towards life, very accepting, that takes true maturity
It's tough but at the end of the day we can always make art out of our challenges. Thank you 717.
Edit:
Also you have balls to share such a personal story publicly, cheers for that man🤝
It sucks man, I hope it clears up for you!
@@mikeypotts4732 thank you, I also hope it clears up
Haha Id be in depression if I was in your situation, Id be trying so hard to get rid of it.
I hope you get better and remain healthy, bruh bruh. You're my inspiration!
Yo thank you Ayad.
bruh bruh. welcome back. Sorry to hear about the health issues, dude...
It's all good Brutha. It is what it is lol.
Wow, this is so sad, I am sorry you have to go through this, I pray you get well soon
@@adaster98 but also, it'll never go away. Just the symptoms
Thank you for sharing your story man! 🙏 We send you lots of energy to keep improving and finding the causes so that you can correct them 💪💪

Thank you Bruh-Bruh.
Sorry about that, man. But glad you've got better. I'm sure you gonna get through this.
Yo Kev. Holy smokes I had no idea! All the love and prayers to you Brutha.
Keeping my fingers crossed that the clear phases will outlast the bad ones by a huge margin. Stay strong and keep the positivity! Thanks for sharing.
You are and will always be my favourite youtube filmmaker
ofc i know you do more than just youtube filmmaking, but you get what I mean :D
I'm so sorry for what you went through. Thanks for sharing with us. Hope everything goes better. And yes.. glad you back!
Thank you Brutha. I've got nothing on the challenges you're dealing with. Your tenacity comes across in the tone of your comment. Very inspiring.
1) vitamin C, make sure you're getting yours, directly linked to autoimmune
2) GYM!
Thank you for sharing this Adam.
If you take vitamin d make sure you include vitamin k because it assists in the uptake of vitamin d.
Hey Adam I didn't expect to see you here ahahah
Great advice! 🥰
wow - that sucks that you had to deal with that - but then to be able to document and put it here - good for you.
I hope u can learn what works for u the best so u can make it into a habit and continue with your life
Glad to see you back brother!
Sounds like you had quite the ride bro. Proud of you for coming on the other side of it more or less, and making this incredible animation to convey how it felt to go through the journey.
Yo yo Ari-Ar. Thank you Brutha 🤜🤛

Much love for you bro...hope it gets better sooner.. and happy you're back.
I've been dealing with it for 7 years. I'm glad yours cleared up quickly. It really changes your perspective on things, doesn't it?
Sorry to hear that you going through with this..but you are my hero, a true legend and a great filmmaker, have learnt so many things from you..
Wish you a speedy recovery!!!
I respect you for telling your story bro. WTF that's tough
I feel you man. I have eczema, and the rashes on my forearms usually just feels so damn itchy and sore all the time. Treatment is kinda helping though currently still recovering when it comes to it.
I feel you too man. I remember the time when my eczema was worse. My hand's skin looked like it was going to melt.
Hey man you’re an inspiration I’ve been watching you for a long time. I didn’t know you were a veteran. I am as well. I’m glad the VA was able to get you at least diagnosed. Living with chronic disease is tough but not impossible. Keep moving and you got this.
I can't tell you how much I love how you tell stories... I am sorry for everything...but damn its good to have you back. Truly.
Your attitude is inspirational. So sorry you're going through this. But you WILL get through it. Thank you for everything you've given to us.
Thank you for sharing.
heres a trick, stay in warm tropical weather year round, its the cold that makes it worse... n
As a black guy with skin issues myself I can see where you're coming from
I'm so sorry, Darious. Wishing you all the best.
Loved the storytelling and editing in this, though!
I had something similar on my arms and back, was recommended an elimination diet. As soon as I started on dairy, boom… now it’s all gone, haven’t had a flare up since. It’s extreme to cut everything out, but it was so good to know what was the cause. It’s different for everyone, good luck my guy.
They do make certain kinds of milk without the A2 protein or without lactose, funnily enough not both though.
UV light helped my Exes psoriasis Im sure there are different severities hers was on her arms not head tho and not as severe
Wait he said dairy cured his?
hey man, I am going through the same thing right now.
I hope you get well soon and manage to fix what your facing
What kind of diet changes helped you best
Right before lock-down in 2020, my entire body broke out in eczema/dermatitis. When you talked about your emotions, I got teary eyed. That’s exactly how I felt. The ebbs and flows of flare ups are frustrating but yeah…you’re right..it’s just something we’ll have to work with as our lives continue on. Stay strong, Brother. You’re an inspiration to many.
Your sound design is ON POOOOIIIINT! ❤🦦 I love it so much!!
How often were you fasting and how long did it take to disappear?
the editing, voiceover, storytelling, vibe - what a great video! I INSTANTLY subbed right after
Wish you all the best and continue staying strong.💯💯💯💯
Thank you for this! I myself am going through a severe facial inflammation and I can relate to so much you said. Glad you are almost back to normal again. The uncertainty of when my condition will get better is taking a toll on me, but this video gave me some confidence
This is what I’ve been battling with wow… I just started using sulfur 8 to prevent the flaking. This video was very interesting
It’s crazy because I have been planning to enlist and my head is going to be exposed in basic and the shit terrifies me
I'm curious if you took the vaccines? Studies are showing problems with auto immune disease afterwards.
Hope you do okay man!
As another black man that is dealing with rare health issues, I am very moved by this. Stay strong man. I am happy to see you doing better.
psoriasis is not rare
@@CrusadesOClock only 2-3% of the population gets it and it’s not as common when you’re young. By health stats it’s not rare but that’s because doctors have a higher standard for that for some reason lol. 2-3% is rare to me lol
