The fact that this is QANON fan fiction glorifying SA makes even more sense knowing she's a Jehovah's Witness. The fact that she's an Ohioan is just the cherry on top of the shit sundae. Also, bullshit HD Carlton didn't know about QANON before writing that book! Ohio is Trump country. I am a staunch progressive and I knew all about QANON in 2017. No shot anyone over the age of 18 in this state knew nothing about it in 2020. 😂 She just happened to copy the exact conspiracy to a tee while admitting she got it from news stories....? News stories about what, ma'am? QANON perhaps? Lmao
QAnon nonsense is not really original, it’s basically just a copy of the “Satanic ritual child abuse” panic from the 1980’s, which ironically made it more difficult for survivors of the real child abuse perpetrated by many Christian organisations. And this whole thing can be traced back to old conspiracies about Jewish people and how they supposedly kidnap children to drink their blood or something else equally disgusting, fake and stupid. I really hate this stuff because, well, these stupid fake conspiracies make life difficult for the real, actual kids being hurt.

The other day I saw a harmless video about not wanting to be recommended smut & they mentioned books like haunting adeline, people in the comments defended the book like their lives depended on it 💀
i personally think people should watch videos even if it heavily criticizes their favorite thing. people living in their own bubble and shielding themselves from hearing criticism because “it’s just a book/fiction” is probably the reason for the death of media literacy. i haven’t finished watching the video but i already know i’m going to love it!

There are tons of words that generally mean ‘the r word’ because they kept inventing words that they considered less offensive. For instance ‘idiot’ ‘imbecile’ and ‘moron’ were where we started and then we moved on to ‘demented’ and the r word and ‘autistic’.
