Get a used copy of "Reapers Creek" - you don't want to give the author any money- don't read it, just put it away and whenever you think about something else "This is the worst I ever read" read another page of Reapers Creek and shudder in fear.

Side note - not in an angry way, because you couldn't have known, just as coming from someone who still has trauma from bullying: Now, the bullying they do is a lot worse than what most bullies do, but bullying IS abuse. What happened to me was not even nearly as bad as this, and I still struggle with mental illness this caused despite this being over ten years ago. I don't remember most of it, like when action heroes in movies the hero remembers war, but I do get (mild) flashbacks and paranoia from it. Bullying is way, way worse and way more harmful than people never been through it generally think.
I looked this up on Goodreads, and I notice that its top reviews are divided between people who hate it, and people who give it three stars in a guilty pleasure sort of way. So like, at least its fans are self-aware.
tiktok book recs give me headaches, but i still like staying in the loop, so thank u for taking the bullet for me LMAOO

This was definitely one of the worst books I read this year, if not the absolute worst. I recently read Crave and it was also terrible but the fact that the Zodiac Academy characters were absolutely insane makes it even worse. Like…they’re just straight up abusive, not bullies

publishing a nine book series is like publishing the stories i make up in bed to fall asleep that keep continuing and sometimes i scrap random shit and act like i never did that and i only stop when im bored of the genre because the books/films i read/watch heavily influence it
also theres no plot, the mc is always sassy and gay and very often a bad guy and if she has powers (because she's always a girl) she has mind power shit liek illusions, mind reading all that.
i watched a video about all the books recapping them and the plots sound so bad. i will link the video if anyone wants to know what happens but doesn’t want to read 8-9 books
