    I mix warm water & leave in in a spray bottle and spritz my hair to open my cuticles then proceed with the LCO method on my LOW porosity hair.

      I know this is kind of late but it's still winter right now so, what do you think of mixing water with aloe vera juice in a spritz for low porosity hair? I have heard people(with low porosity hair) swear by it and say it leaves their hair shiny AND balances it's pH. I'm just thinking about it now though because aloe vera also lays down your cuticle right?

      Do you warm up the bottle and use it again or do you just make another mixture of water and leave-in every time you moisturize your hair?

    I watched another video and the lady in it said leaving product in your hair too long is bad and this will be in for a week so... is this good or bad or..? She also said that if heat was used correctly to open your cuticles and let it absorb the product that it would be OK and if not it could damage your scalp etc. So...now I'm confused😕.

    Hi, I loved this video, very informative. I've always been natural, but wore my hair very short, it's very naturally curly. When I try to do twist outs and put everything in it like the leave in, the moisturizer and oil, it just curls up after the twist and comes undone, any advice, I'm so frustrated, thank you so much.

  • @blackgoddess8994
    @blackgoddess8994 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Great video👍🏾👍🏾 your twists came out really bomb 😻😻👏🏾👏🏾 I have a question hun what should I do for shedding its not excessive where it's in clumps but I noticed every time I detangle my hair it happens and I do braids outs and twist outs. I'm low pow porosity. My hair is thick and long I don't want to lose length.

      I am new to the natural jounery(3 years) and had the same issue at first then I started drinking more water and using a leave in conditioner. I was using a spray bottle with water to moisturize my hair and the water here in TX is very harsh and dirty. It was a trail with no error.

    • @blackgoddess8994
      @blackgoddess8994 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      mechelle bradshaw I drink a lot of water 💦 lol I don't know if it has anything to do with that but I didn't have this problem before so I don't know what's the issue. I been natural my whole life never permed it either.🤔 I how the shedding eventually goes away because I

      Cant stand it lol** and I moisturize my hair all the time especially oiling my scalp.

    • @SamirahGilly
      @SamirahGilly  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Are you using leave in as you detangle? If your hair is really tangled, you definitely don't want to detangle while it's dry. But it could also be diet or health related.

    • @blackgoddess8994
      @blackgoddess8994 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Samirah Gilli yeah I always use a leave in as I'm detangling I never on dry hair and I always take the necessary steps combing the ends the. Working my way up to my roots. Idk it may be my diet but I eat healthy I wouldn't say AlL the time lol but I eat a whole lot of vegetables and fruits. It may be my diet.
