Dairy Farming in Ssembabule District

Twine Betty, a farmer from Ssembabule District, received a pregnant cow from the government through NAADS in 2017. The cow gave birth to a calf and has since grown her herd to three cows. Beyond providing milk for her to sell, the cow also produces manure, which Betty uses to fertilize her banana and coffee plantations enhancing her income and supporting sustainable farming in her community.
