InThe U.S the trailers have their own abs systems on the trailer so they just need power from the truck . The power comes from the center pin of the light cord and it can also get its power from the brake lights should the center pin loose power or if it’s a older truck that is not wired for abs power

The last step for coupling should be to tug the trailer on low gear to make sure the trailer is securely locked on the fifth wheel. nice video though!

No Trailer ABS line? When i get under a trailer in Europe i raise the rear axle of the tractor and raise up the trailer to avoid bending the legs
